End game is not what I expected but I will present my arguments in a respectful manner

Whining is what we call people who complain about every little thing, and calling certain people whiners is often justified by the amount of nonsens they post and the amount of complaining they do, instead of going through the right channels to report bugs they encounter in-game.

You need to grow up and stop acting like you’re some kind of forum moderator. If anything, you’re the one being troll here and if you do not stop, i will report you as such.

Please do report me, hopefully it will draw attention from the mods to this thread and get you banned.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet but there’s also major issues with territory wars and use of large AOE’s which lag the game and server to levels that make it impossible to play. People start freezing on the spot, everybody takes damage from seemingly nothing and then suddenly you’re losing points you had initially been able to defend. Believe that some companies are intentionally lagging the battlegrounds with ice gauntlets and other large AOE’s to exploit this and get the upper hand.

I agree with most of the OP’s statements.

Invasions are a sticky situation, though. We need content that anyone can reasonably join, we need content that is PVE-centric that contributes to the territory control mechanics. And we need a way to downgrade cities over time that are functionally abandoned. I absolutely support having a significant number of randoms in the invasion, even with the possibilities of trolling.

But the frequency and penalties are extreme under these circumstances. If you don’t own one of the central, popular cities, your taxes may not cover the maintenance, let alone constant downgrades. T5 stations are expensive.

Bought the game on release, and i have 182 hours of New world so far. I am Level 46 and I started PVP with ~35.

The idea behind the “dont rush” argument is that Games need time to grow. U can’t expect to have 10000+ hours of unrepeatable gameplay for 40€ on release.
I know its an MMORPG, but it’s still developed by humans, which means there are limits. Lots of games, which cost around 30-50€ will provide 40-80 hours of playtime and you’re pretty much done with it.

Of couse i cannot speak as a lv 60, but since i got a bad PC, i know i cant join Wars anyways for the next 2-4 months until i got a new setup. I will join open world pvp until then. Just form a group within fraction chat, and look out for hotspots. Its not everymans game, but it’s just the perfect one for me.

Focus on pvp, with tactical fights, without perma-jumping and skill-smash-fiestas. Every move is well planned. You can use the surroundings to hide or block projectiles, even lay down in brushes to get camouflaged. Probably the best open world pvp simulator i’ve played.

It feels more “realistic” then “GW2 WvW” or “ESO fraction wars”.
Having instanced maps kills the theme in my opinion.

I guess lots of players will turn pvp flag on in the next weeks after they hit lv 60, Right now i guess ppl are afraid to die against high lvl players, which i will tell you now ; there is no reason to. You can kill a lv 60, while beeing lv 41, since fighting is about skill, not about gear in the current state.
If someone reaches the GS 600, in whatever time is needed for this insanity, things may look different, but right now, u can start a fight without looking on the lvl, but looking at the number of enemys and the weapons they got.

Thats indeed a big issue, which needs to be fixxed. Another thing is abusing the report-system.

Amazon made a mistake with letting a bot decide when to ban a player, but on the other hand…
WTF are players thinking while winning a war through report abuse. Kills the whole purpose of the game. I guess some people dont play for fun…

You yourself refutet your own points mentioning raids and end game dungeons, nah it was alot of text and its pretty pointless conversing with someone who’s username is so accurate, but if you it makes you feel better believe what you want.

yet you sit here playing the game lmao

The whole game is broken and it will kill itself, its not just the endgame.
The game is in much worse shape than i expected when i bought it.

Posts like this really really irritate me. The game has been out for less than 400 hrs and people are moaning about endgame because they rushed through it. They did whatever necessary to get to 60 as soon as possible. Somehow putting like 250hrs of game time into it so far (how is this even possible if you have a life outside of new world?). Literally every single mmo released has had crap endgame content at launch, including wow. It always takes a few updates before it gets sorted out.

So stop playing NW as if it’s a race. Enjoy the game and take your time. That way by the time you reach 60 more content should be out.

Mh i gotta disagree. In the early game i never hit 1 k. At level 25-30 or something i had my first 1k hit, and now with 45 i just had my first 3k hit today, which felt nice. Looking forward to lv 60 and afterwards upgrading equip etc.

BUT im very concerned about that light medium heavy armor thing.
Swapping out light vs medium reducing actual dmg by 1 HAS to be a bug or some strange effeciency increase.

Very well said, my company is having the same issues.

The funny thing is, I’m level 60, but I was taking my sweet time. I was leveling my professions, doing town quests, and lots of pvp, but ended up getting 60 before alot of my buddies who were “hardcore grinding townhall missions”.

The downside to being 60 right now is that, as you stated, there is literally nothing to do besides endlessly grind shattered mountain for gear. Its really killing my enjoyment personally.

You reported him because he claimed that “people are whining”?

You’re probably fun at partys

I don‘t think OP is the * gamestudio of one of the most profitable mega concerns on the whole planet * … do you?

Honestly what kind of childish response is that?

My goodness, it’s hard to read isn’t it (this applies to a lot of posters here)? Most of his complaints come from broken features or broken content. Rushed or not, something that doesn’t work as intended is broken and should be fixed. You, when you reach max level in 5 months or whatever, will encounter the same broken content if it doesn’t get fixed. I guess you should have leveled 10 instead of 5 months then to not rush to experience this issues?

We’re 2 weeks in. Other than the mass reporting issue, I am ok with waiting for fixes. Report system should be disabled immediately until this is fixed.

If t5 staff and outpost rush aren’t fixed within the next 2 weeks, that will do serious long term harm to the game. That’s content that will keep people engaged while more content gets added. A lot of the players will be 60 by then, and find themselves without stuff to do.

Its is sad people who love the game and want it to succeed get blamed for the problems
Nobody is asking for 20 raids the first month, we just want that the advertised end game content actually worked so people at lvl 60 have something to do nobody expects the world after a few weeks just something passable .

People need to pause a moment and look at what they are saying imagine saying its normal for a game to be broken and we shouldn’t get what we payed for we should just accept it.
for those defending the undefendable just remember this when you are at end game and there is no one there and nothing to do.

They haven’t been able to implement server transfer it doesn’t bode well for a speedy fix for the end game.
