I play light armor melee too and without nimble. If you have issues baiting out a light armor players stamina, that is a player skill problem lol. If you expect to chase down light armor players in medium or heavy armor wo a GA idk what to tell you.
No one has ever baited out my stamina unless I played poorly. That’s my point.
Ideally dodge would have a 2.5s cooldown reducable to 2s with dex 200 and dodging would cost 60 stamina.
Non full stamina dodge would either execute but no iframe or would leave you rooted for .5 seconds at the end.
Right now the game has no skill because of near infinite rolling.
Only with Great Axe.
Otherwise, every hatchet user, hammer user, and spear user would be running it as well.
Not to mention BB users and bow users. Which, you would think, they would run for melee range protection, at least, but especially if they could exploit the combo like Great Axe does.
Since none of the above happen, then by definition, the Great Axe is the problem.
Complaints is what ruins the game. You know as well as I do AGS doesn’t do a slight tune. They will completely gut a weapon they are trying to nerf. Just look at what happened in the past 4 months - GA got nerfed, VG became the new OP weapon. Out of all the weapons currently available, I’d rather have GA be the meta.

Stamina regen in this game is insane. I frame is insane. In OPR might players are tankier than me in my full heavy tank. They just permaroll till either of the bus shows up to bring enough CC to stop the rolling.
In this game the “glass cannon” that lights are supposednto be, doesn’t have the glass part. They simply can’t be punished for bad placement. Unlike, say, adc in LOL where 1 misposition can lose the whole fight. Here if the light users are getting too close and get cc’d … They don’t care and roll back to the moon

I started playing light in this meta, the roll is a must when the entire map is just ice shower as far as the eye can see.
This meta is not fun, and it is 100% on the IG. The AoE abilities are soo damn strong that heavy armor is just waiting to have ice dropped on it and insta killed, and medium isn’t much better off. The like 1.5 seconds of spammable i-frames that cover like 15m at a time are just too hard to pass up.
So, play ice, or start rolling, only 2 options that seem to work.
Medium/Heavy shouldn’t be able to catch light, hence the damage mitigation trade off. Heavy or medium is ment to play in the zerg or on the point, light armor gets absolutely melted when playing in the zerg. I say they just take the little pause away after dodging in med /heavy like we had with the animation cancel.
Where are those endless rolling? You can roll 2 times before get exhausted.

I think the main issue with the different armor types are the iframe that goes with it. If you are a good light player, the longer roll can give you time to regen stam and roll again to get iframe invul again.
In comparaison, medium and heavy cannot indefinitely get iframes available while being chased. This little more roll distance from light is what make them feel like even tankier that heavy. In a meta where hard CC ice shower is king, you don’t resist much more in heavy or light. You get deleted at the same speed. Light provide more iframes so more tankiness at the end of the day that heavies.
I have also see players running 300 con medium or light and coupled with i frames would survive better on point than any heavy.
If you Just remove the iframe, all armor would make more sense and balanced as they should. But it is impossible now with the shirking perks.
I think they need to buff the heavy armor by increasing the resistance or add freedom to heavies. For medium armor, maybe just correct it dodge to be less clunky and add a freedom as well but not as powerful as heavy.
For GA/IG nerf, i agree completely. More rework/nerf on ga though, this weapon can simply do every type of content perfectly and it is annoying when other weapons are only specialized in on kind of thing. That why GA is chosen the most in every content, why bother playing other weapons to fill a niche role while GA will fill this role as well and better

Me too. But not rolling endlessy. After max 2 rolls I have to wait 2-3 seconds for the next or I stam out ![]()
pick one mate, either you want the rollers to be stopped or you want IG grav wells to stop, your not going to get both.
Yeah they can’t but a light players only defensive is the rolling without that they are dying from 1-2 hits, a medium or heavy can facetank multiple hits and they can dodge out most things just as much as a light player. Your problem is that you cant do the same what a light player can do while still keeping your insane amount of defensives.
Like heavys can dodge out stuns and abilities while having flat 60% dmg reduction all the time, its not that weak as people trying to say. Its more like people dont know the place for different builds, some player want to fullfil the light bruiser role too in heavy gear.
He wants PvP where everyone goes face to face with each other.
And he can left click everyone in heavy armor until dead.
That is what he wants,
sooo minecraft, he want’s minecraft.
Or Diablo. Enemy players be like trash mobs in Diablo.
Where he can mow down everyone and feel good about it.
can dumb it down a little more and make pvp competitive pong.
