Enduring Strike and Grit from 300 str

Heya,

Just a quick question regarding the passive Enduring Strike which reads :
Enduring Strike adds Grit to Great Axe Heavy Attacks as well as 20% damage reduction while this Grit is active.

If I have grit passive from getting 300 strength, does that mean I will get the 20% damage reduction each time I hit an enemy?
If so, how long does this reduction last?

Thanks in advance
Cheers,

Only while heavy attack it’s very short

Yeah it says “Heavy Attacks” so the light attacks do not have the 20% damage reduction bonus.

If you look at the 300 str perk, you get grit from light and heavy attacks. So the question is does you get Enduring Strike from the grit you receive from having 300 str?

adds Grit to Great Axe Heavy Attacks as well as 20% damage reduction while this Grit is active.

I guess bold doesn’t come out so well on this forum. It specifically says THIS grit.

Test it yourself and post results. Video is better. Thanks in advance.

What does that matter? Anyway, the passive only activate when you do HEAVY ATTACK, and it is very short.

@caijing97 Not sure if you missed the point of original question (which I believe soluss has answered so thanks soluss) but you get grit with 300str on all attacks, so wondered if that triggered the damage reduction from enduring strike. The 300 str has grit on both light and heavy attacks, hence the question.

No info that I could find on it, hence the question. I believe it still should be tested to confirm which I will try and do and report back
