Enemies too easy in PvE

This discussion is to look at how AGS can make fighting the same enemies over and over again more interesting. All opinions welcome.

Discussing with other players the state of enemies once lvl 60 one common feeling is that most enemies out in the open have become tedious to fight and no real challenge apart from the few that you need to farm for special drops.

Having the choice to activate a mode where everything has high health and high damage or high health, high defense, normal damage (as an idea) and over a typical session you can salvage drops to upgrade any other piece of gear )Armour/Weapon) to increase it’s stats and ad perks (ie increased damage, armour pen, increased defence) to be able to gradually take the same enemies down quicker. Each week it resets.

This could play in to a bounty hunting list/bingo card that resets each week and you have to see if you can kill a list of small, medium and large bosses. To make the challenge consistent whether soloing or grouped enemies scale up in health and defense.

The idea is that there is a repeatable activity that requires progression each week and weekly and monthly rewards can be given as on going progression.

I know we’ve got an Amerine/Starstone mashup coming but another idea would be to apply the same above idea with having all items dropped and upgraded from those runs be useable in those dungeons with enemies up to first boss being relatively hard, second boss being extremely hard requiring lots of runs and upgrades and final boss being real damn hard that you’ll be lucky to finish it if you don’t run it daily. And resets weekly.
