Energy usage in queue screen

If 1 million people are playing this, we all have to pass either the login screen or worse, be subjected to a queue waiting screen.

Considering this screen is using a lot of GPU resources for no reason, there’s a large amount of power being wasted here.

Even at 10 Watts of extra power, 1 million people is 10 million Watts being wasted, enough to power up a small city.

AGS really needs to fix the graphical engine, and stop wasting all this power at the login/queue screens.

We are supposed to be saving this planet from global warming, not making it worse by running inefficiently designed software.

AGS should be the industry leader on this philosophy, the philosophy of efficient game design to save as much power as possible. Which is the opposite of the current status of the 3D engine.
