In other games abilities like “Entombed” are intended for classes or characters that lack survivability and/or self-healing.
NW’s “without classes” system creates an imbalance, as it allows abilities like Entombed to be used by assassins, healers, or even weapons like the bow that have high survivability.
I have read that you have to nerf Entombed, but the fault lies in the “without classes” system.
If AGS really wants to get close to a balance, it has to work and build classes in NW, forget the “without classes” system and with bounds avoid these imbalances.
you really wanna get rid of free weapon choices, as thats one of the main selling points of the game?
there is some inbalance in weapons being used secondary just for some abilities.
but i think using a weapon you don’t scale with just for entomb isn’t unbalanced.
hatchet 3 seconds defy death as 2nd weapon was unbalanced, but entomb is far away from being that impactful.
i mean, when you’re up against melee players, entomb is like the worst thing you can do, just delays your death in most cases.
more useful in clump fights as maybe opponents lose attention and you can then slip out of the fight.
but i think there isn’t a clear op 2nd weapon right now.
healers use all sorts of 2nd weapon, rapier/ice gauntlet.
obviously healer is a class that is supposed to have self protection, so just fair they get to pick up a 2nd weapon for that.
also hunters, someone with ig 2nd as melee hunter is far less dangerous as he only has one offensive weapon.
the only real issue with 2nd weapon is with bow, bc bow is so OP that it’s a standalone weapon and you can pick whatever you want 2nd for highest rat gameplay
