then repeat the spam glitch to murder people
why did i half-assed fill this out? because you half-assed patched a bug…zero bans for people who doing this… soo enjoy the same quality of work your doing
firstly, I think you meant half-assed*, secondly yes you can equip the same weapon type in both slots but I havent seen anyone minigunning because this last patch introduced a slight delay between attacks for IG/ FS so im not sure what you’re crying about

they patched being able to just take a second fire staff from your inventory and equip it…
They did not even think about their code when it comes to your storage.
Take two fire staffs. Equip one… put one in the storage. drag it into your inventory the result is in the videos below and can be found easily just by a quick google…
i could go and find dozens of videos uploaded but not worth anyone’s time to do this.
they did not add a “slight delay between attacks for IG/ F” you can view it in the videos…
My bad turns out I was wrong, sorry for leaving my shitty comment last night. As for the delay I mentioned, my half asleep ass meant it was heavy attacks, you cant queue heavy attacks back to back any more, theres a slight delay. I didnt see that reddit post but I did see someone sort of machine gunning in my server today, it was a little slower than the previous one but definitely faster than normal autos. Again, I apologize for being a dickhead
to be honest because there is no server logs for weapon switching prob… so would be imposable to confirm someone is doing it independently. in their defence as someone who has made my own games loads of times… just because there is a video you want some kind of log to back up your ban. to create logs for every time someone weapon switches would be crazy.
the way id handle this is id do a server sided check to see if someone is shooting X projectiles faster then what you have programmed and flag those accounts.
so example if you can take 1 fire staff and only shoot at a rate of 1.0 but if you use two and can shoot 1.8 or 2.0… then you would know clearly they are some how exploiting the speed at wich you want the weapons to function… if they did this kind of server side check… they would of found 100000’s of people abusing all types of animation glitches. Tho as a new MMO and a new team i dont fault them for not doing this… because you never know how players are going to use your game… what i fault them for is… a shitty patch lol

thanks for adding this to the list hopefuly it gets patched and we dont gotta deal with people cheating anymore… Hopefuly the people in the videos we will see banned as well… perm… because they went out of their way to use this exploit unlike last time it was a deisgn flaw.
