Yea its really annoying more than anything i can understand that the launch and queues are not how we wanted it but i can power through that.
But these reset are like a slap in the face when you are trying to remain gamer sane
They fixed this yday with a maint, bug resurfaced today again.
Its not you, its them. Happened to me yday aswell. Today i am not even trying high pop servers.
Same here, I can’t even sit in queue, I get close to being let in, then I get thrown off with that crappy message, like wtf? It’s from their end 100% , there’s nothing wrong with my PC or internet connection. Literally cannot play the game. I understand that there is a queue but we are not even allowed to sit in it and get online when it’s “our turn”. P.S. server signal strength is max.
This is happening to everyone, I think it has to do with internet speed/connection strength in relation to when people get kicked. Easy fix around this is just assign everyone a queueID and arrange them in that order, delete that ID and reassign it after a player manually cancels or joins the server. I think they just missed/didn’t think to develop systems for queueing properly since its kind of hard to forsee without previous experience from this kind of stuff, especially for younger, less experienced teams. You just can’t test 500 thousand players spamming the system at the same time before launch, technically you could simulate it but obviously that wasn’t considered.
To reiterate I don’t mean you are getting dropped because your internet cuts off but I’ve noticed those with beefier speeds/proximity to the server (eu) get kicked off less
Yeah it is on their end but I think there is some prioritization in relation to internet connection/ping, I think (all speculation since I dont have access to official info) it kicks off high “ping” users to reduce the load on the login servers so they don’t crash, a failsafe of sorts. But what has happened is the demand is so unexpected (to them) that this failsafe is being triggered under normal load when its only supposed to happen if the login servers are being targeted, by a concentrated effort for example by spamming the queue. It feels like a mix of poor implementation and inexperience
