I understand having to wait in queue to access the game, I understand the load it takes to have so many new users on a single instance, I understand that on launch day there will be additional hiccups. (even though this is Amazon we are talking about… They are a world leader in server management and allocation)
But what I cannot accept is waiting 5+ hours in a queue and when my time to play the game is almost up I get some arbitrary CONNECTION ERROR @mm_loginservices_InternalServerErrorException message (even though I never lost internet connectivity and had the game open and active?) and then the cherry on top is that I have to go to the end of the line to re-queue?
Like how can they think this is an acceptable thing to expose its new player base to? They have had ample time to fix the issues that they are seeing today and they have been given this feedback plenty of times by its community!
Had this exact same problem. Queued 3.5 hours and when it was finally my turn @mm_loginservices_InternalServerErrorException and back to having to start from scratch again.
If you can get your friends to join another server, that might be best? It is a terrible solution and one that we shouldn’t be forced to make because of Amazon’s missteps but if you can get all your friends to delete their characters and re-create them on a different server and then transfer to the server of your choice later, that might be best?
Our sole focus right now is to get everyone logging in and playing quickly.
