I did but it might not be high pop forever I guess they could do fresh start merges. I so no point inn not allowing transfer between fresh other then it might kill legacy servers. We are on fresh because we don’t want to be on legacy. I already got 2 60’s on legacy

Yes this could be an opportunity. But I think they’re looking on both communities. Because on a long view otherwise the legacy-servers are gonna die.
idk what coast youre on but US East legacy been dying , everyone has 3-4 alts on every server and even have alts on West. All the new players that came back to the game or people who wanna get away from the alts shouldnt be having their fresh servers getting killed because people wanna try out legacy . if you want to be in legacy make a character, dont need to transfer to legacy from fresh to kill the pop or have people manipulate the market. If someone is unhappy with their Fresh Wipe server then they can transfer off to another Fresh Wipe server. Majority of people from what ive been hearing enjoying Fresh wipe. Me and my company are enjoying it but if theyre going to make it where u can transfer to legacy its just a waste of time doing fresh wipes

Here is another brilliant idea from AGS! You prove once again that you have no consideration for your customers, that you impose where they should play without taking into account the opinions of each. You are really the only company to react like this, you are becoming tiresome. Once the server is no longer alive we will stop like many I guess but we will never go back to legacy.

They will merge fs at one point. Probably not open transfers altho that would be a bit misleading from the FAQ if the plan from the beginning was to not allow transfers and trying to avoid angry players. Or maybe it wasn’t set on stone yet/still in talks and now have an stance about it. Not sure what’s their plan with the RTA servers tho lol
My friends went to Aphophis, I couldn’t, so I went to Fate. All the time I thought that transfers would be possible after a month to be able to play together… Please don’t spoil it. There are 100,000 players, do you want 15,000 again?

oh I see what you’re on about now,u think u would magically challange them if there was a reset?the copium still is there,those companies playing on fresh did you know that? If they would allow transfers u will face those players again and u think this time u will beat them?
Also many players that wants to move from fresh to legacy,u cant force people to stay fresh just because u want it.
Man if AGS gave us $100 for free someone on this forum would be crying about not getting $101.

This really mucks up my future in this game. We chose a server to start with, which got locked for 25% of us who have real lives. So, we chose to split up with the plan to reunite after a few months.
I can understand the server hopping mentally you want to discourage for the health of the servers, but when you’ve forced us to split up, you really are just punishing again the 25% who were locked out by your actions.
I won’t flame, and this will be my only moan about this subject; I will leave this for the pimple popping virgins.

Just create a char on a non-locked server with your friends. Here we go. You can play together.
Without the ability to transfer between fresh start servers, they are essentially seasonal servers.
I think that AGS intended them to function as a soft introduction for new/returning players to get back into the game and then eventually transfer to legacy servers. They were never intended to be the main servers.
My guess is that we will see another wave of fresh starts next year, so this will be an ongoing cycle.

it takes like a week to get to 60 and get 600 gear score. if playing with your friends is that important invest a week of your life.
I agree, seems like the long term plan is to merge everything together with new servers arriving occasionally. Most important still is the ability to cross-play, which would take off a lot of pressure for PVE game modes.

This would be smartest choice instead of diving community which isnt large.
People came back for the Fresh Start experience to be part of what was in essence a relaunch. To have the thrill of leveling alongside scores of other people in populated starter zones. To be part of new servers with new economies. To experience the new leveling, with many enhancements and fewer bugs.
Allowing Legacy servers to mix with fresh start servers would have tainted this experience. It just would not work, even going forward.
Allowing Fresh Start players to move to other Fresh Start servers, though, does not impact this fresh experience in any way.
Forcing people to re-level to be with friends or to move to a populated server, especially so soon after they have just re-leveled, is not what people signed up for. Leveling again so soon in empty starter zones with no one to run basic dungeons will simply create what Joshua Strife Hayes has termed a quit moment for players. Amazon should want to preserve as much of this new player base as possible, not make them leave, disheartened and bitter once again.
I would just like to point out again that in the FAQ Amazon stated that transfers from Fresh Start to other Fresh Start servers was not available “at this time.” Again, that gives the impression not that transfers would never be available, but that at some point in the future they would be. Amazon should allow free transfers from Fresh Start server to Fresh Start server as they did shortly after the original launch and for the same reasons.

I appreciate that AGS is dealing with a tough decision here because some people are going to be unhappy either way.
But if they were to allow transfers between fresh start servers, legacy servers would be very restricted in comparison. Not allowing transfers between fresh start servers is the best move to eventually unite the community and keep the game healthy long-term.
