Wouldn’t be very difficult if it was in person and someone ratted you out. I’ve seen people get banned from mass reports for less. A Top Governor / Shot Caller is a high value target to have removed. I’ve been surrounded by sweaty players since day 1. I can tell you for these players “All’s fair in Love and War”. Not really trying to convince you of anything. It is what it is, and believing it is not what I’m suggesting is… will probably make for a better NW experience.
We’d all love there to not be bots or RMT, I’m just saying we see it all around us and it’s no secret how it’s happening and from where.
There are countless legit scenarios where player x transfers hundreds of thousands to player y without a direct exchange of goods. If AGS investigated every large gold transfer that looked a certain way they are not going to have much success. I had 100k given to me on YGG from a friend when I started there. No goods exchanged, just me getting 100k. That’s one of countless examples.

I’ll give you that though, I’ve never had to buy gold in this game. I’ve made out very well in this game between Owning Ebonscale several times, crafting for sales and working the trade post. You are right we really don’t know 100% for sure if that particular ear of corn is an RMT. However it does fit the mold for what many players know is the Modus Operendi for RMT’s in NW.
Whatever it is, it’s hilarious lol. Seriously that should be the new “I quit” way to go out. Put all of your money into listing fees for troll items listed at 500k 
Well 500k sales are hilarious because they can not even be completed. Gold Cap is 500k so this leaves no room to pay the tax to complete the sale. List the godliest item ever seen for 500k.
