We are not in a church here (“believe”).
The current trend is, as shown by Steam chart, that the game will die infact.
The feedback on this forum is a prediction of why.
We are stakeholders of the game, AGS should be happy about feedback which is free of sugar coating and use it for their next game. In the spirit of the alpha this game still is.

Real time combat where you need to constantly move, constantly reposition, dodges aren’t dice rolls and damaging attacks and skills do not follow you(tab target). Among other things.

You lost me at that last part. Changing the match making system isnt New Pvp Content. Thatd like EA telling Battlefield players that a new match making systems is new pvp content and is equivalent to new maps and weapons and stuff.
WvW hasnt had content update in years.
Great game mode though. 
Because everyone is tired of that laags, desync, perma stagger, muskets, empty server, etc generally pvp is not fun at all. Throne and Liberty is near, a lot of people in my company is playing NW but waiting for TL.

Something like this. The story is more complicated but in a nutshell, the game had a notoriously bad launch, players left, devs left, loyal players stuck around, the remaining passionate devs tried to salvage what was left… in the end NCsoft axed the whole game and refuses to let the IP go or get rebooted by another studio. So it just languishes on a shelf somewhere at NCsoft gathering dust.
AGS should close the game, sooner is better for players, they shudn’t keep us here and waste our lifes, we have just one and what we losing nobody will give back. Just temporary close NW, fix all what was mentioned in this forum, switch to Unreal Engine 5, give for every person who was playing before that wipe, something amazing, like really really cool looking mount or skin for armor weapons etc, something what players can chose and nobody will ever get it. Nobody gonna complain, all gonna be happy, but now is just frustration, and once people are angry, they will not comeback again. Every day of the current game works agains’t it, not helping at all.
It’s kinda easy to change, fix game, but once your reputation is lost it’s not gonna be easy to take it back.

I agree on what you wrote and would support it. But as I wrote somewhere else, gamers forget. People still play various franchises which should be dead by now.

I am never happy about not realized opportunities.
Not learning from mistakes, like AGS did, or not giving a shit, like AGS seems to do, drives me mad though.
As a software developer I find their attitude appalling, it’s in extreme contrast to Amazon’s Leadership Principles which are in place for example at AWS.
So, I am disappointed and mad.
So do you want new world to succeed and want the best for the game and the players that like the game?

I agree, but i would call it more likely “they give another chance” but they remember it for a long time. This is why i said, it’s hard to get back, but possible.
As an example i can give NCSoft and Throne and Liberty. Everyone is waiting for it, mostly new generation of players, who never played any of NCSoft game, but those like me, who played all of theirs game remember what they had done with Lineage2. For years ignored players requests to fight BOTs, which were killing that game for years, then switch model to Free to Play and turned it in to insane insane Pay To Win, like to be able play the game, players had to spend every month minimum 500 euro, otherwise playing it wasn’t possible. Ofc they manipulated the players, make them addicts and gently took theirs money, it wasn’t done fast and rough, so for years players were accepting it.
But as i said, people are giving second chance, they also have another games, like Guild Wars 2, which is a good game, with fair buisness model. Also there is a chance Amazon will become a publisher of Throne and Liberty, and atleast for now AGS is known, considered as a fair company, so i have hope in TL. But i do not forget what NCSoft did with Lineage 2

It absolutely matters. And of course “the horse” isn’t dead. Whether or not you want the game to succeed is very telling of why you are here. It displays your real intentions for being on this forum. Your inability to say you don’t want the best for new world speaks volumes.
