This forum all about people asking for fresh server since a week. People are screaming so badly, update is a month away… Just give us ONE fresh server, it will not kill your game. It will not affect anything, let us new/returning players enjoy the new world. Current state of the game is way better than before and I know it will be way better after the big update. But like I said, its a month away and demand for a new server rn is high.
I don’t know what are you waiting for, just releasw one already.
New servers are not Fresh servers! You can switch to a new server and thereby kill the economy and buy cities, as a result, you deprive new players of everything that was at the start of the New World. And new players, instead of getting a positive experience, simply suffer.
Of course, in the New World, the economy is already dead, so new fresh or non-fresh servers are not needed at all right now, especially for old players. But if they release Brimstone sands and patches to regulate the economy, and after them they launch a real fresh server without a transfer, then as an old player I will definitely go to this server) Such a server will definitely give an influx of new players and old ones.
Players have knowledge and experience from hours of playing,vids,and other resources.
And they know how to use it, a large group of players to get gold from quests/activities pool this gold together, send out gathers with goals on materials, buy out town territories, advance several crafters over 200 and be armored fully in 2/3 weeks running M10s.
What everyone is asking for is a “Fresh Start” server aka a new server with no transfers. We want a server where the economy hasn’t been irreparably damaged from six plus months of dupes and exploits; a server with no pre-existing political drama and a fresh board where we can organize to take territories like at launch, but with an actual functional game (Wars with no exploitable lag, Invasions that aren’t bugged, etc).
That’s the only way this game is coming back.
We really need different ruleset servers as well… a lot of us were dying for a perma flagged PvP server. That’s the least they could do since they have barely touched PvP in the last year.
