REPOSTING FOR TRACTION - GAME BUG CAUSED ME TO LOSE HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL GENESIS ORB SEE BELOW –

After running a Genesis expedition with a company members’ orb, that company member remained in my group as well as another company member. The two others left our group and rejoined about 5 minutes later when we asked if they wanted to run Genesis again (with my Orb.) We initiated the expedition and one of the members who just Rejoined (Player name: Adoralnee) was not prompted to teleport to the instance. She ran to the Instance and did not have the prompt to join the group and the UI was setup as if she was in a different Party. She left the group but our UI still showed her in the party and she was able to see and hear us in communication channels. She joined another group and our UI STILL showed her in the group. We began to Troubleshoot via kicking her from the party (we got the prompt but nothing happened when we all voted to kick). We each took turns logging out of the game for a few minutes. Adoralnee began more advanced troubleshooting including: relogged multiple times, verified game files, ran as administrator, restarted computer, ran steam as admin and still every time I logged in, I was in their group on their side but not mine. I joined another group and was able to play throughout the night fine. This error caused the group to lose a GEN orb, and was frustrating for all players involved in the situation as we all tried work arounds for about an hour.
- Among our own troubleshooting I left the group and joined Adoralnee in her group and verified with my company members who stayed in the instance that her profile was still appearing in their party UI, SHE WAS IN TWO GROUPS. We could not invite a 5th player because the group was “full” and Adoralnee could not join the group because “she was already in a group”. Therefore we all logged out as a final attempt and the orb was lost.
