For me this is a huge improvement, finding people to do lower mutations is much easier. I’d like to thank the dev team for the continuous release of stuff.
There’s still a lot of stuff to improve but I appreciate what we are getting.
For the people hating the game in twitter and in forums I would recommend you try to enjoy the game or give good feedback instead of pointless hate ^^
Yeah, really cool to at last have something that the game could had from the beginning. It’s what I would have expected from a modern MMO. To come with a LFG Tool from the very beginning.
That LFG tool will make things easier.
But I see a huge problem: And it is that I can’t see groups for mutation lvls I haven’t yet unlocked.
Why in the world I would use the LFG Tools If I can’t see the groups for M10 ? And since there’s a limit for just 25 muts a week.
With the LFG tool I’m forced to either unlock every mutation lvl (and spend x slots) so that I can use it for M10 or to keep using the chat for looking for group means.
I haven’t tried it yet this morning but looking forward to trying it later todays. I half expected to get on the forums this morning and see post after post about how buggy it was or making the server crash but haven’t seen anything significant yet. Just posts about people not knowing that you access it from the map or the typical “we can’t see their gear perk” complaints.
I’ve yet to try the LFG tool, but my prediction is that people using it to find M10s are going to be the ones that you don’t want to run with. People with resilient on their gear and such. OR, private messages with links will still be the prefered method for anyone who dosen’t want to ruin a run.
As long as they’re lvls 60 with 625 gear I don’t really care if they have ward/bane/gems or not, even for mut 10 (that is the same shit, with some extra constraints). It’s better to have people with hands in your group, that know what they do, than a well equipped monkey that doesn’t know how to play.
I see another problem in the LFG Tool
Since only people with M10 Unlocked can both create and see groups. There’s the possibility they find a small subset of people with visibility to do M10. And that they doesn’t then look for people in the chat. So it becomes increasingly hard to find M10 Groups.
Good gear is a better indicator for me that someone put toughts in the PVE side of the game or at least, even if skills aren’t there, they have a safety net (wards). I’ve seen too many PVP players in resilient gear come in an M10 and die 10 times.
For Depths maybe and only because of the time restriction… but I do Gold on Tempest without Tank… so… these kind of arguments… nah. PVE of this game is easy.
You can see groups for mutations levels you haven’t unlocked, its just that each mutation level has a seperate group finder. Obviously, you can still see levels you haven’t unlocked because you don’t need to unlock them to join. However, since you can’t open that level you can’t create a lobby for that level since it would count it as you opening the expedition.
I can see and request to join groups for dynasty m10 and my codex is only at 1. So not sure what the problem is.
I think some people would argue the opposite… as in I’d take a 623 warded with perks and bane over a random 625 resil, but all we have to go by is the gs

I can’t see them. I can only see from the lvl I have Unlocked.

LOL. I thought it was a global list (with every lvl). Not an specific list for each level.
So I thought the button was only one, for all.
