Expertise WILL KILL SMALL COMPANIES! and more

I own a small company with my friends and we are strong as hell, we have a 3 party who are invited for all territorial wars and love to pvp, but most of us are 25-30 years old and dont have time to grind all day, so together we craft and do dugeons when is possible but form a party every day is not easy cuz, im working in a hospital my friend is a professor and on on … SO! now we need join in a big guild to farm?
i don’t like the rules os the majority of the guilds, i like to talk with my buddys and relax.

ANDDD MOREE !!!
part of fun of the game is if you mastery a weapon to 20 u can change when you want if you want, now this is gone.
sometimes i play a full dex build for archer sometimes i play with 300 dex 200 int with a musket and sometimes to farm dugeons i play with a greataxe and heavy armor, and i have full medium and heavy voidband, now i need more god now how many hours to do this agains OR join in a large guild to speed up the process and kill the fun with THE BOYS…ty amazon!!

Top companies that got settlements generate alot of coin. THey use this revenue to get the best gear in the game and overpower smaller companies. The expertise system will take the power away from big companies and dimish the power of coin.
The way I see it, smaller companies will have better chances to challenge and win a settlement.

Most of your post makes no sense. Weapon mastery or the fact that you have very little time to play has nothing to do with expertise. You’re just a casual player who bought voidbent and thinks you’re top player. The most nonsense I’ve read this week.

I’m not sure why you think part-time players or people in small companies won’t be able to get high expertise. Several 60+ elite zones can be run by just one party, and are significantly easier than the dungeons. You’re already doing dungeons which are a great way to WM/expertise. Even crafting and other solo activities will give gypsum to raise expertise.

Someone playing less will always advance more slowly than someone playing more, but players playing only with small groups or solo can still cap out expertise. quite possibly more easily than capping WM now.

They bought voidbent and think they don’t have to play the game to remain competitive. The exact reason why HWM was changed is because of these casuals who buy to win their way into endgame with 0 effort and want to stay at the top forever by doing nothing.

guys i dont have little time to play i have hard time to form a party in week days
i can do all content in the game but largers guilds will zerk open dugenons all day and if i want stay in a competitive lvl for wars and invasions well… join in a large company or stay behind

Well, if you want an even ground you should not play MMORPGS that are historically a kind of game that require massive time investment and grind to be a top tier player.

Organize your group and try your best do to activities that will bring your Expertise up.

And if makes you feel better, voidbent is far from being the BIS Armors. It’s an OK armor at best.

Like other ppl already said, it will definitely HELP small companies since the big companies won’t be able to just spam their crafters with materials until they get the BIS Perks on armors amd weapons.

That won’t change anything at all. 95% of us already got to cap at main weapon and armor with said bis gear

i dont understand this obsession’s with thinking purchasing end game means you didnt play the game. thinking that only hwm is the valid game play loop.

regardless.

large power top company will have the man power to non stop run all events and zerg elites. with enough people running non stop portals, opr, elite zones. enough gypsum and mats and crafters to make the orbs and casts. not to mention they are already ahead of the grind.

this actually makes it harder for solos and small companies to catch up.

Those same large companies with all that bought gear and all that coin, haven’t had to be piddling around for the last month grinding out their newly nerfed trade skills. They bought them a month ago.

They are the very same people who had nothing else to do in the game, because endgame content is severely lacking, so they have spent more time than anyone watermarking.

If they were large and powerful early on, before the nerfs to all of the watermarking locations (lower drops, only weapons dropping for a couple weeks, hugely buffed elites) or they exploited the early watermarking bugs like the quickly respawning 64+ bosses that would get bugged out, they will be waaaaaay ahead of everyone else, who will be spending months of effort to maybe catch up to that WM now. Anyone who didnt bust out WM to 590 by now, will be playing with their hand tied behind their back.

This idea that somehow small companies of newer players or ones that are up and coming, are going to gain parity with established powerful companies, is just flat out wrong and divorced from reality.

As stated, the watermark/expertise changes will further cement the permanent power lead those large companies and glitch exploiters already have.

The mountain we have to climb to overcome them just got even taller, and AGS greased it so its slippery now.

that is what i mean, tks

Most top companies are playing on 2 servers, logging in only for wars. The expertise system will have a decay and companies that do this server hoping will eventually find themselves at the bottom of the food chain.
