It´s a fact about Faction Gear is worthless and has no point in farming it at all…
Since we have a lot of discussing about PVP and PVE content, Ca you guys rework faction store?
My suggestion
rebuild PVP quest and add another faction coin for PVP.
create a new option gear for PVE, with perks for cooldown reduction instead crit reduction
create a GEAR with 540 score with no upgrade less expensive, before I reach lvl 60 I can grind the faction quests and buy the sets for starting doing expeditions and grinds at lvl 60.
Instead 3 bonus quest per day, we can have 5 or 6 to speed up the token farm, those bonus will be spent for PVE/PVP quests, the player have to choose with one they will pick
You can not pick PVE and PVP quests together, we will need to choose with path we are going for.
improve the reward after lvl 60 and 600gs for keep making faction quest worth, battle itens and potions.
Faction is worthless in bot case, because the perks you will have… I´m trying to use faction set for a fresh 60, easy to farm, or it´s pointless forming faction tokens… I will farm 3 quests a day for get the gypsum only.
New faction quests would be nice but I would not like another faction coin currency. Faction tokens and salt are already in game. Tokens already have little value besides gypsum and rune of holding.
When gear has resilient its not PVE armor i.e voidbent, 2/3 pve perks and 2/3 pvp perks, bad for both content. New PVE armor with decent perks at faction store would be nice but at minimal 580-590 range for new players and 600 for 2/3 perk pvp/pve weapons and armor.
540 GS is pointless waypoint, getting cheap 600GS set from market is already outclassing this GS even when expertise is 500 for fresh lvl 60. Before level 60 you should not be focusing on upgrading gear, each piece will be irrelevant in couple of hours of gameplay before level 60.
3 bonus quests per day is enough for 2x gypsum and extra. No need to go overboard with bonuses.

Rewards are enough for daily gypsum and runes of holding. There is no reason to increase rewards before faction store is getting revamp and items actually worth grinding for but… Items sold on faction store need to have unique aspect so they would not devalue crafted items/consumables.
Faction vendor is useless. PvP track is useless.
As someone who plays this game almost solely for PvP this is frustrating.
Not only that all of the faction gear is completely useless, but that even after a year noone even took the slightest effort to update it to make it at least LOOK like sth has been done.
Yes… I agreed with you… I throw some ideas about faction items for start from somewhere, we really need a rework on faction store ASAP, because faction is only for PVP flag and nothing more, since they open fortress there is no point doing faction quest.
