Yeah we get that. But the only reason you are checking is so you can find a map like that but owned by the faction you are in. Hence why they probably want to limit the amount of times you can peak to find that server to bandwagon to
i want to transfer, i’d happily transfer to a balanced server
easily solved also, do not let people transfer to a server where they belong to the dominant faction (only if there is a huge disparity in that dominance).
something like if one faction owns 60% or more of the map, then do not allow anymore of the same faction to transfer to the server.
Join Marauders or Covenant and take that land back. Its no fun joining the winning team.
I am a marauder… you cannot join the dominant covenant regardless (maybe you can transfer in as dominant i dunno)
Holding steady this morning, no change since yesterday
swithcing off purp to yellow as of now
Go Covenant!
imagine the azoth cost to travel for syndicate on that server.mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Then they should probably restrict the number of servers you can check.
Instead they made a secret limit telling no one, and surprise ban people that check too many server.
Curious why you’re defending that approach?
Not true my company went to different maps for the sole purpose of finding a map that was balanced and without massive multi chain companies
Sure man. Solos peeking for stacked servers and a company totally wants balance but you probably want at least ef or ww and then transferring over 50-100 dudes to one faction on a balanced server going to significantly tip that balance to your factions favor. So you aren’t some noble player going I want balance and even if you are most aren’t peeking for balance.
I’m not defending banning anyone but yeah unlimited peeking results in just finding that stacked server which except for that 1 noble guy above most players are peeking to find a map their factions color which then tips that maps balance even more. They could add a 24 hour delete character type thing like same games so you can’t chain peek 12 times in 1 hour and trigger some system they probably got set up so a gold seller can chain spam gold selling on 12 servers in 1 hour.
This is simply wrong.
I transfered to a server where my faction had no territories - so I would have more people to kill. Joining a winning faction is boring and means you have less to do.
I dont play on NA, but please keep me updated on the faction balance
I think its interesting hahah
It’s not simply wrong. It’s just in your particular instance it is. Hence most not all. So great your that guy that rather be outnumbered. grats
Again you transferring 50 dudes over changes that balance and maybe your guild wanted a challenge and sought out a map with no territories. Doesn’t make me wrong just means not every single person wants to be on a stacked team hence most not all. So Sure I’m wrong in your particular instance which I already acknowledge not every single player has the same intentions so grats.
I take umbradge at your comments simply because you assumed that OP was one of these shitty people. You do not know OP. Do not assume.
Your point isn’t invalid, some people will do just as you say, but we don’t know if that’s OP. From what he says, it’s not.
Ok I take umbradge to the fact you assume the op is not a shitty person. Do you know the op or are you assuming as well? Like I really don’t know what you want. Due to the bandwagoning I’ve seen in so many games I can think peeking is more of an attempt to avoid getting stuck on the losing team and a decent amount of players will look to find a server to transfer to that matches their faction.
And even if you are peeking to find that stacked server it don’t make you a shitty person it just creates more imbalance. The game kinda punishes the players who are only controlling 1 or 0 territories.
The generally accepted approach to life is to assume the best of someone until proven otherwise. We run our legal systems the same way, innocent until proven guilty.
If you choose to life a life of assuming people are shitty in the first instance, then I pitty you but I can’t stop you.
As for the server - soon paid transfers will be a thing. If people join a server they don’t like, they will just move. Providing a ‘peek’ as you call it, simply saves people time and money.
