Faction Quest BUG Answers?

Im sure all the dev’s are aware about this bug where we cant get past the second rank of our faction to be able to earn faction tokens and such, this has been ongoing since the Faction cooldown reset happened, which means all of us haven’t been able to grind out our faction tokens, impossible for us to make LAZ/GEN Orbs, is their a compensation? their is a major number of us that cant do this, and i have to go out of my way to buy Actual orbs, or buy into orbs every single time, this is unfair and needs to have a compensation for us to be looked at

Patch notes are stating that faction reputation is fixed for people who switch in the future, so that they do not need to grind the reputation again. They mention that it does not affect those who already fixed and no mention of a fix for the bugged quest. So did they just fix this to everyone who will be swapping in the future, but ignored all the people who are stuck now? Maybe their solution is to just let the people who are stuck quit the game so they do not need to fix the situation?

Make sense honestly and I’m about to quit the game if this is not fixed. as what I understand from reading the notes and responds about this bug and it might be fixed in February patch for weapon balance since this bug is part of “weapon balance” not game fucking breaking the game for us who are not able to buy our own chisels and now we need to spend money on that? meaning it was easy for them to make all items tradable instead of fixing the bug. @Kay @Luxendra @Darkens do you even care about old players or you just want for them quit and wait for new players to join the game?

My understanding of the change is that folks who switched before this update, who were stuck on the quest line, are now unstuck and can progress. Have you been able to log in and check since the January update rolled out?

Hello Kay,

I was able to progress finally from Trial of Gladiator. Sadly I’m only surprised that it was not rly mentioned in the patch notes.
Besides that new ppl who transfer now … are not impacted by it. :slight_smile:

Thanks for checking! I am creating a list of the changes that were missed or misstated in the notes so I can dig in more to what happened, and determine how we can build a better process to avoid incorrect notes in the future. This is now on the list.

WEll kay, my issue is we haven’t be able to farm tokens for end game content, at all, no chisel, no tokens, nothing we couldnt do anything for like 2 months, meanwhile everyone else has, and theirs 0 compensation for us, its very unfair

@Kay any comment on compensation for 2 months of not being able to get faction tokens? making us not able to make one ORB?

Just to let @Kay know that so far I have pushed to tier 4 and no issues with levelling. Hope today I can get the last 8k rep to get at tier 5. Maybe compensation is that we need to grind around 45k rep to level up and be able to get orbs :smiley: and hope we won’t have problem making orbs as other players are reporting
