Faction quests - do better please

I dropped back into the game to check out the quest refresh, including the Faction quests.
The intro quests was not bad for Covenant but I feel Syndicate should have me do some science instead of just being hired muscle for Fedex deliveries. And Marauder lacked any identity at all except being duped by them and going to kill things.

And I switched factions just to see if the advancement quests got an improvement and it didn’t look like it. Marauders just send you on kill quests at sites of repeatable faction quests. Like I don’t kill piles of enemies every day in that same zone or harder zones, doing faction quests for them.
Either let us skip those kill X quests if we have already done faction quests in the zone, or better yet, take the opportunity to show us how unique each faction is from the others by actually having a decent storyline in there.
That’s not a new invention – Elder Scrolls has been doing that since forever with their Guild advancement quests tied to a faction story.

So for example, with the Marauders, Silas has a rivaly with you. How about we actually meet them early on and at each advancement quest we have some interesting interaction with them?

With the Syndicate, they could have us gather some materials and actually, you know, do science? Like craft something at the Arcana station? I don’t feel qualified to be with the Syndicate when I’m just sent like some Mafia goon to go bust heads or a Amazon delivery dude dropping off a package.

Overall… really really disappointed.

Thank you for this feedback/ideas about Faction quests @GrailQuest
