Im unable to use faction seals opn my armour. idk if its armour type level or what .
You have to craft the new armor you want. Let’s say you want a piece of light or medium armor to have strength. You will need the piece of armor you want changed, the according seal with strength and then go to the outfitting station to craft the new piece of armor with strength. If soy want heavy armor changed, you have to craft it at a forge. It’s not too well explained, I’ll give you that, but it should work. At least it did for me. Good luck mate!
Edit: it ONLY works for faction armor though, not sure if that perhaps was your question already.
I am havinbg the same issue regarding the Heavy covent faction armor. My friend ran into it aswell, but when he tried the medium armor it worked. I unequip the armor and have seals in inv and no option comes up on the forge.
Make sure the armor is fully repaired.
You must take off the armor and put it in your inventory

I have the same issue, the option is not showed for use the faction seal, my medium armor is repaired, on inventory and impossible perform this action on craft station of medium armors

Hello all, I ran into this problem before, not sure of its exactly the same problem you all are facing but here it is.
I went to the specific workbench associated with the armor type and then I was able to do it. You will not be able to use the same type of crafting station for different types of faction gear. Hope this helps
It also seems you can only change an armor once, not twice, with seals.
Yeah, I wish they had said that somewhere. I bought armour that I was using to level weapons with thinking that I could just put the seals I wanted on at the end, to replace my levelling seals… turns out that’s a huge nope.
So now I have to regrind the entire set of armour out again… all 150,000 faction tokens worth of it. Or stay with the weapons I was levelling, but don’t enjoy using. Not really fantastic options there.
I might actually take a break from the game as I really don’t want to put myself through the mind-numbing grind of doing loops of the map for drip-fed faction tokens.
Commander armour seems to be not working. I bought it today yet I’m unable to use the seal. It’s repaired, in my inventory and I checked chest, gloves and pants.
I learned this the hard way… it says its permanent, but should say ‘can only happen once’.
