Failed to authenticate with persona

Hi
dear support, after update to latest patch, i get this error " Failed to authenticate with persona ".
what should i do?
i test all solution on internet, But none of them worked

I do have the same issue while trying to launch the game.
sometimes it says “Failed to authenticate with persona” other times it says “Client could not be authenticated, try again later” and retry doesn’t work either.

All normal solutions didn’t work (Reinstall, verify, dns flush, ipv6 off, etc …) it also started with the heart of madness update for me.

right now, im gonna try logging in with vpn and close it when in-game. people said it worked for them. i will update this.

I am sorry to know that you are facing the issue of error- Failed to authenticate with persona.

Some players were successful resolving the issue by toggling IPv6 so kindly try the following steps -

  • From the Start/Windows Menu, select Settings
  • Select Network and Internet.
  • In the Status section, under Change your network settings, select Change adapter options.
  • When the Network Connections window opens, right-click your network connection.
  • Select Properties.
  • Scroll to Internet Protocol version 6.
  • Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) box.
  • Select OK to save your changes for the selected network adapter.
  • Try launching the game again. A PC restart may be necessary.

@morteza.mirhoseini Try this dadash (means bro) :
Open the game with VPN on, when you get to Character select screen, turn VPN off and log-in. it works for now.

@Kay or someone from @Developer anyone but this auto robot moderator can note that as a temporary solution.

If not already tried, kindly try the following-

  • Unlink and Relink amazon and steam account -

    Link or Unlink Your Amazon and Steam Accounts - Support | Amazon Games

  • Repair Easy Anti cheat ( Open New World in your Steam library and go to Settings > Manage > Browse Local Files > Open the AntiCheat Folder > Run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file > Repair.

  • Troubleshoot the Firewall:

    • Press Windows + R, type “firewall.cpl” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
    • Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall and then click Change settings.
    • Look for the game in the list of allowed apps and features. If it’s present, make sure it’s checked, and that both the Private and Public columns have a check mark. If the app is missing from the list, you need to add it.
    • Click Allow another app…, locate and select the app, then click Add.
    • Once you’ve done that, you need to ensure that the app is checked, and that it has check marks under both the Private and Public columns.

I will try your solution just in-case anything other than VPN works which normally should be the case and will report the results here.

I just got mad because i already said that i turned off IPv6 and your respond was an automated one, explaining how to turn off IPv6. respect is a two way street mate.

Well i have tried those steps too, none worked either and sent a ticket to the team for further investigation.

Also sorry for responding with such a temper this is a bit frustrating.

So the issue wasn’t actually an issue. you put a region lock on and now we can’t play from Iran.
like the game wasn’t expensive for us to begin with and we can’t even play it now, i also bought lots of skins in-game.

I hope refund is possible after 500h putted into game. damn Amazon that’s the final nail.
