- Describe the issue you are experiencing: I tried to upgrade a void gauntlet that had a gear score of 618 and when I clicked to upgrade it to 620 nothing happened and now my umbral shards are gone.

- What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I don’t know how to reproduce the bug, but I just performed the normal gear score upgrade sequence without success and now my umbral shards are all gone

In this case it does sound like something went wrong.
There is a quick step we can try, and if it doesn’t work it’s necessary for you to contact live channels so we can view logs.
Quick fix being: Verifying there is no pending update, in windows, Steam, New World.
Log out of Steam, open it and run it as an administrator, select New World in your library and verify the integrity of the game files.
