This is not a legit reason imho. “Other MMOs let me have 7 twinks :(” whatever you need fucking 7 twinks for anyway lulz. Plus in New world the need for twinks isnt really that big, since you can just reskill and be happy if you have your professions up. Who wants to go through Furnishing 200 more than once for example? 
and my account with furnishing is locked for the family share 
I was answering to a guy who said it was legit to use family share as 1 person to play on 8 chars.
i know, was just thinking that if i have to remake the char on the main account i need to redo the furnishing, i prefer to just stop play

You could always just pay the $40 and buy the game. It should make your lvl 60 playable again.

Dont look like very fair need pay for the game again. to get a sense, my secondary account has more than 360 hours of gameplay, and the main account where the game was purchased doesn’t even have 10 hours and doesn’t have any characters (unlike people like @Sneakydude try to insinuate that it’s for storage or anything else of the kind).
unfortunately, some people use their own questionable morals as a yardstick to speculate other people’s motivations…

funniest thing is that who used family share for bot/cheat now have the sub account banned and blocked, but the main account is free to play, the legits are blocked

Ask yourself …when You buy your own work car or workplace to start your own company. Spend hours and days doing the job. Then someone says: sorry we take your work car and workplace for “reasons” …and You lose all just that, without any warning or something.

I worked to hit 60lvl all proffesions near to 200 and friends depending on my help. Same me want to just play and I can’t now do that. So I understand why but they should think! If They do stuff that without wider plan and block other without way to fix things. They break more stuff more then fix.
sorry if this sounds dramatic. I only want my character to be back. We all have reasons to familly share and if there is way to not lose our life time. Then all will be ok…somehow.
7 twinks or alts might not be a good thing for you. But in the case of a family it’s not 7 twinks. It’s one or two characters for each family member. There’s a difference

sorry, but from a game companies point of view: using family share is leeching off of one purchase for free. honestly i don’t understand the steps that lead to this decision, but in all honesty: why would you family share a MMORPG, where you can get a perma ban? would be the same with rust etc. honestly having folks share a “main account” to a “sub account” makes no sense at all. this just means you don’t want to support a studio with the money they deserve for their game, but share it with your whole family, even though, according to the legal stuff " 2.4 Limited License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, access, and use the Game Clients and associated Game Content only for your personal, non-commercial purposes." sharing it with your whole family is NOT personal use btw. followed by " 2.5 Restrictions. You may use the Games only as permitted by this Agreement and applicable law. You may not, and you will not assist or authorize any other person to: (i) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble, or otherwise tamper with, the Game Clients and associated Game Content; (ii) sell, rent, lease, lend, loan, distribute, transfer, or sublicense the Games, or act as a host or matchmaking service for the Games without our consent, or otherwise facilitate any unauthorized connection that emulates portions of the Games;"
for now they revoked their consent to share their licenses. accept it for now. you accepted the legal stuff, once you started the game. so if you want to use it: nope its not for “getting more money” but protecting their intellectual property from third parties.
i don’t understand, why you would create multiple steam accounts instead of using one. sure you can then share the games from the “main account” and everyone can play at the same time, but this is no more personal use of the licenses, but rather a setup to bypass buying multiple copies of the same game.
therefore i don’t understand why many of you, with good conscience can criticize this step. using family sharing to provide all of your family with copies of new world is almost as bad as the folks, who refunded the game on steam, which was shorter than 2 hours and played it through before.
dont get me wrong: if amazon grants their consent again for using family sharing: good for you, glad you got the possibility, but on the other hand i think its unfair towards amazon games as well at the same time ^^

I can not understand why some are so toxic with family share! I’m almost sure that none of you have children to understand for us dads how much salvation the family share is!
Tell me how many of you have a playstation 1,2,3,4 or xbox, have you never lent a game to a friend?
Or rather I will say the other, in a family the father has to buy the game 2 or 3 times (depending on how many children he has) the same to give to his children to play on a console;
I am a Gamer from a young age, now I am 39 with 2 children. I have steam for 12 whole years! I do not have a single VAC from steam, with 421 games in my collection! I did not steal them from anyone,
I am not a cheater or anything! Do not put us all in a sack, the legal ones! Try you who are so negative to understand why there is a family share in a family, it helps us, !!!
I’m with you that we have to protect the game, just like in other games with FS if someone eats a ban someone just locks for everyone and finally, eats the ban and the main account along with the bots!
Just do not put the legal ones on the wall.

2 or 3 hours ago my daughter asked me to play also New World. I said “sure why not. we try family share. i guess this works a few weeks for you until AGS closes this option.”
And 1 hours later i read that is has been closed
