Fast Travel Issue / Map Glitch

I can’t seem to Fast Travel anywhere in game, aside from one spirit point. Also, my map navigation menu seems glitched. I am showing features that others in my company don’t see. Please help!
Thanks,
Smoosh

Hello @smooshmc
Thank you so much for joining the forums
Would you be so kind to run an integrity check on steam and when that is done restart your computer and please try again with the fast travel option.

@Raftel A member of my company suggested that, and I did run it, but I still have the same issue after logging back in. Any other ideas?

If the problem is indeed a corrupted file and the integrity check is not helping you might have to do a clean installation of the game.
It would also be recommended to make a clean installation of the video drivers just in case.

What kind of GPU do you have? So I can share the instructions in case you need them.

@Raftel NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
Thanks for your help.

Alright, to reset your driver software to the default settings:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel.
  2. Click Manage 3D Settings.
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Restore Defaults.

And to update your video drivers, go to Nvidia Support.

@Raftel Hi Rafael, so today I did a fresh install of the game, and I still have the map problem. So I’m not sure what else to do at this point. Any thoughts?

UPDATE: After a hard crash in NW, I restarted my system, logged back in, and VOILA, my map is functioning now. What? Why? How? Not sure at all… but happy to see my markers, waypoints, and ability to fast travel.

Ugh, spoke too soon. Now it reverted back to the way it was before. T.T

@Raftel I have another update. While my map is still glitching, I have found that if I exit to the Main Menu and re-enter the game, it fixes itself. A nuisance, but a workaround. Any other thoughts?

Are you able to fast travel and the error is only on how the map displays?

@Raftel once I relog from the main menu, yes, I can fast travel, see my quest markers, etc. It seems odd that it doesn’t load correctly upon game launch, yet it will fix when I back out to main menu, and re-enter. I had reinstalled the game and verified files on Steam as you initially suggested, but still experience the issue.
