ever since the update 1.1
mage’s atk speed have been greatly reduced by a whole lot. especially heavy attacks.
even melee weapons like g.axe have faster attack speed.
Our attacks are strictly single targeted, where as melees are close range of 45~60 degrees of aoe.
i feel we are not on par with melee, since our normal attacks are strictly single targetd, i feel we should be compensated for faster attack speed.
i strongly feel our light attack speed should be at the same speed with hatchets.
please look into it, because right now, overall, with our attack speed, and our nerfed skills, i feel our normal and heavy attack DPS are on the bottom of the list in term of dps output.

edit: sorry, there’s one more thing i wanted to express my concern with mages in this game. i feel playing mage in this game is super punishing. with every normal and heavy attacks, it uses mana, as well as our skills. where as when playing with melee/physical weapons, you don’t have to worry about mana usage at all, even their skills are mana free, just based on cooldown.
this is another reason why i think the nerf to mage is ridiculously stupid. we’re using our mana but don’t see the big dmg in return. this is not what mages are supposed to be. should be rewarding if we spend our mana correctly, and managing it well. but right now, with low attack speed, and mana restrictions (if u’re running two mage weapons) we have to constantly eat mana potions, but don’t see the rewarding dmg! please do something about it for us devs
overall it’ll be good if we can remove mana cost on light attacks only, and boost the attack speed on all normal and heavy atks. to match hatchet’s
