let me start, GREAT base game, combat, weapons, crafting. wonderful foundations…
no endgame to speak of, everything is massivly gated even beyond asian mmos, ZERO need for orbs. none. nada and your forums speak of this near every day that they need to dissapear. as a basicly solor player, add the same MM that you have for OPR to EVERY dungeon and this alone would keep me logging in for months on end…one of the greatest things id love to do is run a single…A SINGLE end game dunegon but cant as they are locked behind 10k+ orbs that require mats i cant possible get my hands on as a solo player…yes like it or not solo players make up a massive part of the mmo market…this is the sole reason games like FF, wow, D2, GW2 are alive and well…they make sure the solo player has something to do and run. aka dungeons that give loot to move toons farward. not to MAX GS but close to it…if MM dungeons got me to 580 GS id be happy as a clam…but lock them behind orb gates and in stuck at 500 for months on end…
more gating than vanilla wow. but at the same time those gates are consumed and you have to do them again.
i can grind for 10 hours and be .2% higher than where i started…no joke. i hit 60 over a month ago, and with 1.2 im still 500 in MOST slots, highest is 506…since as a solo player your game doesnt work, i could be solo in games like FF, WoW, GW2, destiny 2 and be WAY deeper.
in new world 300 hours as a lvl 60 and near everything is far far overtuned and gated to due the content that would in turn grant gear score…i need a 550-600gs to do 500gs content…bad design.
pre 1.1 crafting was a grind but doable…1.1 dropped, and that put a stop to that, if you didnt exploit or make 30k lvl 1 gloves oh well you get left in the dust or need 100k to try to get a few dozen skill levels that yield items with 99.9% no use to anyone.
the store, i love me some cosmetics, LOVE EM…but you sell transmogs that CANT be dyed…cant even imagine how this escaped you, and the default colors on said cosmetics are a eye sore…the christmas skins, purples and reds and greens with white trim, god awful, they would be WONDERFUL if one could dye those horrid slots…most of your cosmetic gear has a great design but the colors that youve LOCKED in are just horrid…and your choice of winter themed weapons skins…you made CRAZY good, VERY, SUPER, WONDERFUL, pretty sexy ice weapons…and then didnt bother to put them in the store…why dear why, never seen a company hate to make profits and money from the in game shop as much as you…
weapon balance, eh i can find enough i enjoy, and it is basicly the only thing keeping me logging in for far too long. tho many of the weapon perks that can be place in gear need a large tuning pass as far to many are basicly useless, but that im sure will be fixed in time…i would hope
