[Feedback][Schematic] Understanding a Schematic

We all know how frustrating the current Schematic system is. For furniture, nobody knows what the schematic makes unless they have it in their inventory to attempt to salvage, because their names don’t match what is made. Also, this makes buying schematics almost impossible for furniture due to not knowing exactly what your getting.

And this leads right into other crafting schematics. While not having the same problem, the individual interested in the schematic can’t see the exact item the schematic can make, thus makes it hard to know if it’s worth learning or selling.

Information from this thread is also very useful: Recipe and Schematic Issues

Below is a list of things that need to change to resolve these issues:

  • Schematic name needs to match the name of the item being crafted (mainly for furniture, but should always be true for all schematics)

  • Schematics should be allowed to view what item the schematic crafts (meaning you can view the stats if it’s equippable or can see just the item picture and name for furniture)

  • When attempting to salvage a schematic, if you already know the schematic, the game does not let you attempt to salvage as you already know it.

The name should ALWAYS match what it makes for sure in ALL professions, hells yeah on actually being able to see it before learning it. You should be able to learn it even if you have it already (just free clutter in the long run) BUT it should say if you have learnt it already or not.

everything remains relevant, you need to understand if you know the scheme or recipe, and you also need the opportunity to filter out at auction, according to the same criterion
