Feel like more needs to be done to fix que times

I won’t transfer, cause I would miss my company and friends. And if I did transfer that server will have mostly people who logged in to play for a week and transfer off, and then That server will be dead in a month.

Shame on AGS for not figuring out a solution… shame on them for waiting for people to leave their game to get rid of ques.

They should make transfers free off all full servers… they should have moved accounts to the new servers automatically who had not played in 3 months… they need to have either overflow servers or put in automated server mergers and splitters so it’s not up to me to try to figure out when to transfer on/ off severs…

They did that twice already.

Not tokens… just let people leave at will.

Its $15 to do that. Anytime you want to do it.

Lol. That’s dumb… ags makes a problem and then wants us to pay then to help fix it. I have a token, but won’t leave my sever and can put up with the queues.

The other thing they need to do is allow the transfer from Home Screen… people sit in a 2000 person que just to login and transfer??? That is beyond stupid.

It is $0 to uninstall.

I am curious which one offer is better.

It is almost like they want to keep returning and new players away… I can’t understand for the life of me why they don’t do something over last 9 months

They have done a ton of stuff over the last 9 months. You should have been here to see it.

I meant about severs🙄

Instancing servers could be one possible, and very common, solution.

10+ years ago, I played LOTRO.

On the face of things, it was similar to NW when it comes to the servers.

Lots of servers, a seamless world that you could walk from one end of to the other without ever seeing a load screen (afaik that’s still mostly true today).

And yet they still integrated layering technology that spun up as needed for their servers. It was transparent on the front end. The only way you knew you’d entered a “layered” hotpsot was a small icon that appeared on the screen.

Feels like something like this would be the best solution for NW. A setup that wouldn’t mess up town ownership and would keep the game structure largely as it is today.

Add in x-server group content and I think we’d have a winning system that would end the current madness where it feels like any solution they go with makes a chunk of players miserable.

Disclaimer: I know absolute zero about the technology of either game or what it would take to do that for NW, so I dunno how possible it would be. I also like ESO’s megaserver setup but I don’t see how that could work well in NW without drastic changes (zone load screens, territory ownership etc). Plus the “seamless” world of NW is really cool and was one of my favorite things about LOTRO.strong text

I played lotro for 5 years… elendilmir server , what up?

Brandywine 2007-2014, until our guild jumped to ESO where we remain.

Brandywine was the role play sever?

Nice I played from 2007 to 2012. Till my ex made me quit…

The overwhelming majority of the players who remained playing since launch were forced to use those transfer tokens because AGS left way too many servers unplayable with less then 200 actives on a server.

I still have both of my free transfer tokens.

I probably still have mine too, stuck in a queue to find out…

Ok, then do it?

What’s your prediction on how low peak concurrent players will get on steam in one month?

I don’t think we are near the peak yet, it will peak in another week (over 100k) and then probably come back down to the 60k mark. Better than it was, but not as good as it could be.
