P2W best solution against RMT.
Disable Coins, make all items untradable, and allow only Marks of Fortune to buy untradable items from Store - like Mobile games.
RMT isnt a problem at all, none of us see it, only you.
Why donāt you stop complaining about everything and come up with some real solutions.
RMT is in every single MMO, AGS has bigger problems to deal with that something no one can combat.
So this topic is not a solution to slowing down RMT?

RMT is a big systemic problem in NW. It is literally impossible to Ban someone for RMT and even if you try to have HARD CORE evidence of such things via VIDEO / Screenshots. AGS will do NOTHING!
They are for RMT as they know PVP is competitive and only people that Have BIS everything will be slotted. RMT allows players to be at the edge. Giving false impressions to new players.
That being said people that engage in this have a sense of value to keep playing as IRL money is spent keeping the game alive for them as some sort of āinvestmentā
@PrisonerZero I have tried and sent many reports to AGS. Even AGS staff agrees with me yet their MOD team is complete trash at handling anything.
If you really want to fight these people. You need to go after the Buyersā¦
STEPS - How to blackmail RMTāers:
1- Do a stakeout at shrines. Common Shrines WW, MB, BS, EF.

3- Donāt forget to record the transaction.
4- DM for blackmail/post in NW/ Player Company Discord. to Threating AGS report
5- Regardless of the answer still make the report
6 - Profit and Enjoy the hope that AGS will ban players.

Most people who RMT have already made bis gear for the upcoming patch I would suggest. Just look at the crafting leaderboards and then youāll see who most likely buys the most gold on your server.
If AGS see these trades of 1000x runic/PHX/asmo constantly from players with names like ahwhqgzvsq and they donāt ban anyone, they probably just turn a blind eye

I say they permanently ban everyone who has bought or sold gold.
I mean, buying gold might as well be considered cheating.
Shard selling for gold is fine, imo - itās an honest method of gold earning that players actually earn. Though, Iām on Maramma and shard selling doesnāt seem to exist here.
No remorse for people. Iāve never bought gold or used a crafting station and managed to save enough millions to buy everything I needed off the AH.
I made over 25K coin in a few days of OPR play. People who buy coins are losers.

Counter to RMT. Just have amazon sell gold matching the rates of the gold sellers so people that RMT can just fund the next patch and it could actually be good.
They would need to sell it at a rate below the gold sellers, where it would no longer be financially-sustainable for anyone, including countries like argentina and brazil where the usd is very valuableā¦
They would have to make buying gold so insanely cheap to kill off illicit RMTs that the entire market ingame would collapse from it.

It seems to me removing the ability to trade any item or sell via Market to trade is the first step. The second is take hardcore measures to not enable content selling/carrying. Everything should self earned through the grind.
I bet you less people would be driven away by this than say, the current system since moments into launch. You donāt have time to earn your keep, then do something else. As it is look how many of us are doing something else other than playing the game we purchased.
This includes very aggressive daily active handling of bot automation programs.
