Final nail in offensive rapier pvp

removing stagger from flourish … ? so the only option is riposte which is purely defensive. rapier is already weakest weapon in game, i really hope u will not put this change into live.

maybe not so good for pvp, but for pve is pretty amazing

I dont use Rapier at all but I think they should keep it as is for build diversity and encourage more to play around with blood tree. Its clear ags didnt think about the weapons current balance state before proposing these nerfs.

Rapier is in a bad place for pvp. It was once a strong main weapon for non war pvp. Now it’s just a crutch for healers and most bows/muskets (not all, some do actually use it offensively but the vast majority do not)

It’s great for PvE. But ags lost their way with it when they focused hard on it as a pocket escape tool. Without actually stopping it getting used for just that.

The changes on ptr don’t seem to be related to making it more viable, just in line with the other stagger/damage changes.

It needs more work. But I think its escape viability needs to be removed (fleche should be only used to attack not run away, if used without hitting anything it should apply a slow and the haste passives on attacks should not kick in until the weapon has been used to attack for more than 3 hits and has been equipped for more than 5s)

ive been playing rapier as my main weapon since beta i can tell u 100% this kills rapier as an offensive weapon it will now purely be a tool.
