Been trying to get one of these events recorded. This one came out pretty good.

Wow, very flashy. Havent had luck yet, but only ran around one ingame night.
Try outside Windsward from the south gate. I heard the noises of one of these events before knowing what it was, and kept going.
God damnit! The amazing sound team strikes again! These people need raises!

I was seeing it falling over the hill, guy in chat screams “Holy shit, there’s a meteor falling on me!”
And I was like: “Hold on im on my way to help you, mate!” …
So I ran there and steal half of his meteor shit
Sound design is really top notch followed by great art/visuals.

The sound is awesome. Everything about this is just so awesome. The first time I heard this, I was on the PTR and it was just a few hours in. Had just left the Windsward south gate and was heading to Cutless Keys. The noise scared me, as I was wearing a headset and had the volume up a little bit more than usual. I wish I had stayed to watch the show, as I was literally right there.
Imagine how good the game would be if it would have the quality like this very little event. I have to say this is incredibly cool.
I found one floating over a hill. I shot it with my bow and got a rep boost with some firework explosion.
But I don’t think anything actually went into my inventory? Unless it was in of those tokens.

this is what corruption portals should be. they should be rare and disrupt the entire settlement so no one can do anything until they are cleared. crafting disrupted, quests on hold, etc…
So there are two kinds of Present nodes. 1) On the ground. You get 1 present and 10 rep. These respawn fast in the same place. 2) High in the air. Multiple presents that spin and glow. You have to use a ranged weapon to get them. You get 24 (or maybe it’s 25) presents and either 25 or 50 rep. These are much harder to see unless your looking UP all the time. Have not been able to confirm they respawn in the same place.

I think so. Not sure if this is normal, as I was WAITING for this, to record it. I have never actually been looking at the sky at the start of one of these events until this one. (It is annoying standing around doing nothing for 15 minutes).
