I play a kind of interesting build that I was able to put together because of the amazing ability to mix and match armor, weapons, etc in this game.
The Ice Gauntlet is the main weapon I use in my build and I couple it with a war hammer for more control and damage.
Since Ice Storm no longer works 80% of the time. Ive lost all desire to PVP. I waited forever for Outpost Rush just for my main weapon to break the day after. This is just not acceptable and I hope a fix will be implemented ASAP
PLEASE FIX THE FIRE STAFF PILLAR AND ICE GAUNTLET ICE STORM, Pillar does no damage 50% of the time and Ice storm doesnt work if you take the last skill point where more enemies make it do more damage then switch out of it. these are literally making mage unplayable

Indeed. Perfect time to take a break until this is sorted, since all high-level pvp is just heavy Great-Axe, Hatchet and Life Staff.
Easy to confirm:
Ice Gauntlet Ice Block Stopping Storm
Ice Gauntlet light attacks stopping Storm
Ice Gauntlet swapping weapons (with perk) STILL stopping Storm.
Oh and to try to test it, trade and duel interface bugging out and not allowing us to duel LOL

THIS IS NOT HOW YOU FIX GAMES. You Don’t break an entire class of players to “TEST ON A MASS SCALE” That is what QA and TESTING IS FOR not LIVE. God… it hurts so much if they actually said those words.
I’ve noticed this yesterday but thought it was how it always was. Now I know its a bug

Mage is completely broken right now
- Ice Storm does no tick damage
- Pillar of Fire does damage 50% of the time
- Various perks broken with abilities i.e. Empowering Fireball
- Try to Ice Spike immediately after Ice Storm, and you would get stuck in animation
- Pillar of Fire frequently casts on your own character instead of where you want it to be, so does Ice Storm

Fix this please!
I think AGS should at least provide free Weapon and Attribute respecs until they are able to fix the skills. It’s expensive enough to respec when you’re just experimenting but I don’t think it is appropriate for the player to spend resources as a result of bugs that are not quickly being resolved.
It should be cheaper all around IMO for a game that wants you to not have alts.
