When using fire staff, pillar of fire is sometimes not doing damage. Usually to targets already engaged with you. its a 50/50 chance the ability does no damage at all.

All ae attacks seem that way atm, even my ice storm ignores enemies inside since patch half the time 
Pillar also has about a 8% chance of auto casting at my feet and not giving me a placement option since day 1.
