Sometimes I really think people are out of their mind. If fire staff is so broken, why is there not a single fire staff player in wars? Please stop suggesting bs.

I don’t think it’s OP; FS has low weapon dmg but the problem is that everyone wear Shadewalker sets with low elemental resistance then crying here about fire staff dmg

actually firestaves are slotted pretty frequently in wars now, maybe not as frequent as IG VG, but still more frequent than before.
Dude just play another game, for the love of the New World itself.
You ONLY and i say ONLY ask for nerfs. Is there a weapon you like and do not want to see nerfed or you are playing with your naked fists?

didnt know the empowered bug from entombed and champion amulett tho…
30% empower from meteor shower and 51% extra dmg from fireball when on staff doesnt help either.
58% fireball Dmg on a Staff, ye thats 30% Empowered then if u have Empowered Meteor Shower on ur Weapon ( u maybe wanna take a look at Spear then, check how much Empowered and Fortify they have… lol ) oh and then the Buff disappears, if u swap to second weapon
Fs just has 1.340 Atk, when using 410 Int
and honestly, i would never rely on just, good player just iframe it
Grav Wells also do the same thing at the moment, difference is the G.W burst and effectiveness was nerfed and now that fireball perk on the weapon is stronger now and everyone on the server that uses firestaff literally has one at the minimum, every OPR its a flurry of arrows and 15 odd mages throwing ice abilities to slow you and throwing fireballs at you then flame throwing you.
ah, thanks, I was wrong about the numbers I guess. But currently Im pretty sure the empowered meteor shower buff stays, might DEF be wrong since I dont use fire staff often.
na, if u have the perk on ur weapon ( which is a waste… ) u loose it, when swapping to ur second weapon.
if that perk is on an armor piece ( 20% at 10 stacks ) it stays when swapping
since it does what it should, gives u empoweredment buff, after hitting meteor shower.

This is basically why this game style in general has always failed. Noone has pulled it off. Not GW almost 20 years ago, not Elder Scrolls, and certainly not NW. It’s impossible to balance. PvP in a PvE world

Not on my server, the most competitive server on EU, Abaton. 0 firestaves in any wars which mean something.
I have been seeing one or two on the odd occasion but yes it’s not a frequent thing.
I think we could expect to see more as people gear up. Just a speculation.
the flamethrower needs to have mana penalties, they can literally use it forever lol
