Anyone in heavy armour hardly feels the damage from Fire staff, you hit them for 700-900 damage. The fire staff is only good against medium and light armour. It absolutely can not 1 shot anyone in PVP in any case at all, its normally a 3 shot at least (if no healers or no potion used).
PoF has been gutted now and probably wont be worth using instead of just auto attacking heavy to reduce fireball CD. Fireball nerf is stupid. Incinerate is pointless and needs it range increased or its casting speed increased. Flamethrower is a meme…
A mage is supposed to be a high DPS but super squishy role, now its just going to be a mediocre DPS and equally if not more squishy.

I literally just watched a war on xayru’s stream against one of the main syndicate companies and they were almost ALL heavy armor greataxe/Warhammer lifestaff/Warhammerand xayru’s team lost easily. Yeah maybe in wpvp or outpost rush, not wars. And yeah, ice, not fire. Firestaff alone is garbage. Fire/ice is the meta because ice is so broken on live that it does almost all the work.
Fire/ice meta is not “firestaff meta”, it’s fire/ice meta. The combo is meta, not the individual weapon. It’s like calling Hammer meta then using it with a bow.
I play firestaff/rapier, and as soon as I replace the rapier with an ice gauntlet, my build goes from ok and balanced to broken.
Then pick another weapon, you’re bad at fire staff. Didn’t contradict myself, the flamethrower is working fine now that it got a buff. Pick another weapon, your not good at this one. Have a good day.
Wow you are slow. You do know we have a test server. You’re just bad at all of this. Poor guy. You ever notice that other fire staff users don’t complain. They get hit with the same fire spells as everyone else. But yet, they don’t complain and cry about it. Only you!

The Game is complete Unbalanced and have Bugs since Beta1
Oh yes, firestaff needs a lot of rework. Specially with its hitboxes and possibility to aim an enemy without really aiming, jus throwing attacks in his directions.
That part should be definetely reworked:)
