Is it finally time to Merge the first fresh start server with Legacy in order to save an entire region?
This is a question for the community as a whole and for AGS.
With Sutekh Population dropping rapidly, Settlements not being upkept (Everfall having Tier 3 stations) And Delos (the only legacy server) population. <1000 I think it’s finally time to make AP southeast a 1 server region.
Thoughts?
Yeah I mean…it’s probably going to happen. If player numbers keep dropping, it’ll happen to the other regions as well

yes, merge, then… on the second year anniversary have a new fresh start server again. 
fs servers is the worst thing being implemented. just when people coming back for brimstone release, genius ags decided to divide the player base. so brilliant. 
I had heaps of fun doing fresh start… at the start. But then it just became the same as my legacy character after a few weeks so yea, I think I would agree.
Completely agree. For the last few weeks ive sorta just been popping in and out. But now the AP southeast servers have completely died. Settlement upkeep, not enough people for opr pops/3v3s/mutated expeditions. Just a ghost town really.
Katy said in a video that they would let the fresh start die before merging with legacy.
Is there an exception to be made for Ap Southeast though? It’s very much a unique situation Don’t you think?
I personally don’t care one way or another. But I believe the devs were so annoyed by some of the fresh start players in this forum talking so much trash about the legacy servers that they’d sooner just have fresh starts die off. I remember hearing the way she said in that video that they would let the server die before merging that I got the impression she was over the fresh start attitude.

but, okay, i’ll agree to that, brought back those who left after game launch, then stayed for like 1-2 months and left again? look how the fs servers health now. people screaming for a merge and even transfers.

They paid for NW and spent a lot of time and can’t do any content just because ags LET the server die?.. I mean that’s unfair.
Yeah it’d be the same even if FSS didn’t exist. At least in some regions. I mean if FSS didn’t exist, AP would be actually dead right now

Yes she’s a dev that is on many of their dev videos. Hopefully they open up transfers to legacy. But merges are probably never going to happen. Some very vocal people on the forum who vilified legacy servers are the reason AGShad to make that very divisive decision about never merging with legacy. Had those people just been quiet, AGS never would have made such an unnecessary statement to never merge servers and you wouldn’t be in the predicament you are today.
