issue:
first light fort faction owned and i have full weaving set, so i should get a 20% crafting yield bonus. i crafted 10 phoenixweave and i got 1 bonus. 20% of 10 = 2. even without RNG i should get 12 guaranteed. why did i get 11?
You have a 20% chance on each material to double it.
You can theoretically get 10. Or get 15. [Which I’ve seen a screenshot of both and will try to find]
It just comes down to rng
It’s not working properly no matter how it is working.
I’m getting 10 from 10 w/ fort + accumulation gear way to consistently.
Prior to the Burning Sands patch I dont recall ever getting less than 11 with full accumulation gear even when we didn’t have the fort. With the fort it wasn’t uncommon to get 13+.
Something changed and it’s not RNG is RNG. When you do your cooldowns everyday for a year you develope a sense of a baseline - something has changed.
While I have not done cooldowns in a long time. I can check to see if the roll bonus values have changed. Will reply in the morning
Also I should point out that for me…when the fort is active and I have my accumulation gear on it still only says 10% bonus in the UI. Others have claimed this is a display bug but I’m not sure.
it doesnt say +10% CHANCE it says +10% YIELD which is guaranteed.
true, but they mean chance ~ “typo”
but technically if u have 5 pieces u should get 10% more 100% of the time…
that would be a typo that’s in the game for a year, that seems improbable
it is new world… so ye thats possible
