First Light needs 3 Star Fishing Hot Spot --> Albenaja

Tier V Dexterity Food (Fried Albenaja) requires the Legendary Albenaja fish to craft.

Albenaja are only harvested in First Light

Currently there are 3 fishing hotspots in First Light, all of them only 1 star.

As a result, Albenaja is incredibly scarce. Currently on the NA East - Hy-brasil Server there are ZERO Albenaja on the market.

I’ve been fishing the Saltwater and Freshwater 1 star hot spots in First Light for roughly 20 fishing levels using Glow and Firefly bait in both and have never hooked an Albenaja (with 3x Lucky Waters III and 1 Lucky Waters II clothing items, but zero fishing trophies yet).

Other zones have 2 and 3 star fishing hotspots, and First Light needs one as well.

Because dex is most popular? Try to take full set Lucky waters III, Lucky Day III and 3 major fishing trophy. Write again after this pls

Why should Dex food be x20 more difficult to get than any other?

Fishing Trophies are on hold until they fix furniture trade, but that is beside the point. There are no Albenaja on the market (for days), which means people just aren’t getting them.

Or not selling them. There are 2 broad fishing Hotspot within ruining distance of each other. One at the zombie docks and the the other at the river just north of there. Both give what you are looking for. I just use firefly bait, have 2 minor fishing trophy and lucky day on my pole and they are a more common rare catch then some of the other zones.

Also because the two are in close proximity you can fish out one and go to the other and it’s normally either up or getting ready to be up.

On my server I don’t even list them anymore because they don’t sell.

If you are talking about the 2 in First Light, this is what I’ve been doing so at least it’s non-stop 1 stars I’m fishing on.

I’ve not had trouble catching other legendaries, but they are on the Secret Hotspots.

shrug I picked up fishing gloves with Luck III, so at least I’ve got the clothing. So far no luck…

So this is going to sound counter intuitive. I have most of my best catches WITHOUT a lot of luck gear on. This goes for rare catches and blues like oysters for pearls. I find the more luck I have past a certain point, kills my ability for rare catches.

I wonder if it’s not counter-intuitive at all and you were just experiencing the bug they just fixed causing people to have worse drops with luck food/buffs?

Maybe. I know since I stopped using loot luck and any fishing luck other then the stuff in my homes and on my pole, my drops and catches both have been way better.

I agree, there needs to be at least 1 rare, and 1 secret. I’ve only managed to catch one, and i have full large boost clothing, bait, and pool. only minor trophies though with furnishing down at the moment
