Fishing animation freezes from time to time

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: It began in Shattered mountain and Edengrove fishing spots. When you reel in a fish and the holding animation begins, sometimes my screen freezes as if the holding animation isn’t properly working. Normally it freezes my screen for 10-30second but this time it crashed the game completely.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Makes fishing anoying.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Yea, but it continues.

Small question, does this happen with one particular fishing pole or any of the fishing poles you’ve used?

happens to me too every time, every throw lag increases untill relog or game crash

I can confirm this. As @Feslon states until relog.
All different rods, waters and baits.

How am i meant to smash aptitude 200 my tomorrow morning with all of the lag outs?

I’ve only ever used 1 fishing rod. I don’t know I’ll put on another rod and try. It may be that I caught a new fish or something I have never caught before and this is the reason.

Let me know after you’ve tested with another rod, juulian. :sunglasses:

There is also another one where i recall to home, head to water hole and then go F3, There is no UI for the bait, i can press r to select bait or left click to fish, but the UI is missing. only known way around this so far is to smash ESC until the chat bar opens. then i can then get the UI to reset.

A clip is not required, but if you feel as it if will help out the team you’re free to provide one :slight_smile: .
