Fishing bugged, I get slimy boots mostly which I cannot drop

    For some reason after the first patch, the fishing results tons of slimy boots (almost 20% of all, around the map) and they are now going to “Quest items” slot in the inventory and cannot be salvaged or even dropped! Also it seems that once you get the first boot, they start to appear way more often. For example I found hot spot and got 8-10 fish first but then I got first boot and then every second “fish” was a slimy boot.

They seem to be affiliated to Reel Life quest which keeps giving mostly boots until you return the quest.

Edit: they seem to dissappear from the inventory occasionally

Same problem, now I have 1,8 of weight for free.

I start fishing on this territory, on some 2 start fishing hotspot (in some waterfall):

After get 2 boots, I see this post and I go to some river and get 1 boot of 2 throw

My character name is GuerreroBit (Penglai Server) and I’ve already completed the boots mission at some point.

i have the same problem now. i have 7 boots in my storage and cannot drop them. player name: saiiibot / EU / Vagon-Server. Please fix asap my inv is now 4 KG smaller.

Same problem …stuck with 4.2KG of boots I have no use for …MouseerD on US East realm of Tulgey Wood.

Interesting I logged out to post this and get correct spelling of realm I am on …I log back in and slimy boots are gone now.

I got Slimy Boots, I was able to salvage them a week ago for some leather (I think) now I have 23 of them I can’t toss! I’m at a fishing spot just to the northwest of the fort in Weaver’s Fen on Chicomoztoc on NA East, IGN is LunaGore.

Same issue. I now have 4 boots and will now not be able to fish at all until this is fixed because they take up inventory space and cannot be removed.

Someone who wrote this quest forgot to add a flag switch when completing the stage.

Trying logging out for a few mins then log back in …I had that issue weeks back and did this…and the boots were gone when I logged back in.

They disappeared after a while anyway. Can fish elsewhere OK (not tried in WF again).
