I agree with everything from the OP – and the only change I’ve seen upcoming is that next content patch we can salvage Madtoms. Great. More mats that are useless, that no one will buy.

I am hoping for a good fishing update and that AGS will implement some of the changes requested by many people sooner rather than later.

I agree. I also agree with the original post. I really like fishing but I would like to get rewarded for the time I am investing in it. By far the worst profession in gold to time ratio.

As a fisherman with level 200 fishing skill I totally agree with you and would like to see your feedbacks inside the game, the suggestion of fishing a world boss is quite hilarious but I would love it, imagine you’re fishing alone and a fucking Kraken spawns in front of you AHAHAHAH

I love the post. You put alot of effort in it and it, basically, reflects the fishing reality in NW. I agree with all the statements and the biggest issue for me is Treasure Chests loot table. It’s absolutely awful and I’d love to not get them at all and get some blue fishes instead. Hopefully someone in Dev team cares about fishing and at some point we will get an update.

This just got even worse. The over-leveling for fishing is by far harder to achieve than any other gathering skill I’ve tried. Every update that affects anything gathering or luck related it feels like fishing isn’t even an afterthought its just not taken into consideration entirely :frowning:

All of the aforementioned, plus, why is there no incentive to flag while fishing?

Since all other gather skills have a link to being flagged, please add something to make the risk vs reward for fishing flagged significant. Having zero reward is crap.

Fishing is PvE. You should understand by now that AGS doesnt care about PvE. They never care from the beginning. Suggestions are good but they wont make it happen at least in close future.

Aptitude reward crates for fishing add insult to injury. Injury in that the tier 3 crate is the same as tier 2. And insult in that the rewards are no where near other crates. Getting two stacks of bait from a crate is insulting.

Came here to say I also find the fishing gathering skill unrewarding since the nerf of treasure chests to remove coin. If you want to keep the coin out of them for bot prevention, that’s fine. But the treasure chests should be therefore be reduced to Tier II or III level, not Tier IV level loot in the table. What you get inside them now is virtually useless and the percentage for the valuable gems is a joke.

I would also like to see the possibility to put Azoth bonus perk on the Fishing Rod during crafting like the other tools. This would then reward players who do use a good chunk of Azoth to get to harder to reach fishing spots with the chance to earn back that Azoth while fishing.

id like to know when ya get the basic and major trophy fish and salvage the fish ya get the Taxidermied fish why the hell is it bind on pickup!!!

and yes when ya take coin out of the treasure chest ya need to put something eles in there to replace it!!!

and the new lvl chests sux the loot is trash actually lvl 1,2,3,4 i aint even gotten the chest in my inventory only the 2 in between chests turn up…

and yes we need more fishing quests, more ways to obtain the other legendary fishing pols, WE NEED more t3 t2 hot spots in Windsward the t3 thats there for me is never active…

I completed the tour 2 times after level 200…
i got first 2 reward. but the 3.reward was not there. its happened 2 times. pls check the problem.

Confirming fishing aptitude crates are STILL not rewarding the tier 3 reward.

I have no idea why they haven’t added rewards bound the the account to combat botting instead of leaving it as a dead skill. Just add more crafting mats/mods bound to the account to add more variety to the game. Most people will be 200 everything eventually but not the bots.

That would be awesome! And it needs somebody to shout, “RELEASE THE KRAKEN!” when the Kraken appears.

Still waiting on any fixes to fishing. Now that rents are back up through the roof we fishermen need something given back. Taking the coin out of the chests obviously didn’t help the bot problem so…give us the gold back please.

I love fishing and it would be great if when I got to 201 fishing I actually got the fishing chest AGS YOU OWE ME 5 CHESTS it’s quite a grind to get to 205 fishing.

Also please make Package of Specialized fishing chest more rewarding. The only rewarding from this aptitute is draught of azoth oil which is just 200g less and most of the craft mods are garbage

Not to mention the time it takes to get an aptitude chest, it can take 3 hours to get one fishing vs 10-15 minutes on almost any other skill…
