Is anyone else experiencing fishing hotspots that appear active from a distance, but when you get closer, they disappear and never respawn? I thought it was just a LOD thing at first, but on two separate days at two separate hotspots (BW 3 star and WW 3 star), I’ve spent over an hour at each without a hotspot ever appearing.

I’ve experienced this previously with plants being visible and then disappearing. I’ve always attributed it to LOD as well, even though sometimes I’ve been only a few feet away when they vanish. Made me wonder if there was some kind of despawn counter as well.
