@Jhordoh @legalminn @JudgeGadget Appreciate you all providing these videos here. I have personally moved these to the team and requested immediate feedback concerning this. I know it is not easy dealing with this but it must be understood that we are messengers here. We cannot look deeper into this matter ourselves and get it rectified but we do know this month a lot of work has been put forth towards dealing with bots and a few other aspects in New World,
If I receive an update following this up, I will provide the information I can here.
@Myrn We can understand the frustration, but we are being transparent with the community concerning this topic. This issue has been really difficult to overcome, but the team is working hard day in and out to get as many bots removed from the game as possible.

I think the problem is lack of downward messaging. We bubble stuff up, and then…silence.

@BRGF I appreciate the response to this thread and forwarding the problems we brought forward. I haven’t seen any bots on my new server thus far.
What I didn’t appreciate was a five day forum ban from one of my two threads for asking for better communication. I’m assuming it was the other thread, but I do want to thank you for the better communication that has happened.
@Jhordoh It is no problem at all as we are here to get all player’s voices heard by our team and all have been working towards the complete improvement of New World!
Awesome news and there is still a lot of work being done so please be on the lookout for the upcoming announcements! Please understand that we have a strict set of rules to adhere to and if in certain instances we do see players and community members overstepping these, we do want to take action, but in most cases, it is necessary to. We obviously never want to go against players and clash
I submitted 100s of legitimate reports and not a single bot was banned. And you say that someone actually reviews the reports? No they don’t. Well, they might look at them for one second before they hit the delete button. If that’s what you mean when you say “review.”
AGS brags that 9000 bots have been banned since launch. We know that. The problem is that they were only 24 hour bans, and now all 9000 bots are back again.

Just wanted to confirm this post is so true.
I ran fishing to 140 til I realised there were bots running the 3 star hot spots in restless shores. They tanked the market so hard.
I got 12 or more people to report it and its still running to this day 3 weeks later.
Server is Diranda.
Its indestructible as it has a tier 1 camp by it so if you kill it with mobs it respawns at camp and goes again.
And another one…
Reported in-game and using ticket.
@legalminn Appreciate you providing this video here. I have moved this to our team immediately so they can review this and hopefully try to remove these bots as soon as possible. Thanks for working with us in trying to make New World a better experience for all!

Yeah. I don’t buy this. It takes two minutes to recognize a bot. A player reported in chat for saying a bad word is banned same day. A player reported for botting takes 3-6 months. Something doesn’t jive here.
Give me a job on one server and access to bot reports. That server would be taken care of.

Make sure to keep this other bot off too. It’s back in-game today. I reported it in-game.

I suggest this same thing in the in game reports I submit. The bots level up, they move locations. I was coming across a lvl 42 bot, no faction, harvesting Ironwood and Wirefiber…
It really isn’t hard to watch them and what they do. I’d say 90% of bots you can tell in under a minute. The other 10%? Go check out their TP listings. You don’t even need to have access to the backend to search for “Iron Ore” and see postings at regular intervals in a town with same numbers. Full pages of this from multiple towns. Watch the bot farm iron ore and oil, follow it to TP, check iron ore and oil listings from that town. 25, 30, 18, 21, 32. Next hour: 19, 31, 27, 29, 17.

i’m think this specific bot script is running on all server.
we transfered from antillia to evonium, the same script on the same place with a tier 1 camp on the same place.
why this bots get not banned, it has to be easy for the team to see this in the telemetry data?
