Fishing Quest Line bugged

• Describe the issue you are experiencing: I turned in the fishing quest to Tariku Abebe where he wanted Fish Hammer an Fish Sword and he isn’t offering the next quest in line, he just talks about hot spots.

• (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: I can’t finish a quest chain.

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I guess do the fishing quest line and turn in the quests as usual.

I’m having the same problem, but on an earlier quest in the chain. Can’t get The Giant Ones from Edith Perchal after turning in Practice Makes Perfect to her. Really hope they get this addressed sooner rather than later, but guessing it’s not gonna be a priority

Same problem. Quest disappeared on the Snails and Clams quest. Brimstone broke it.

Edit: I found it. The quest reset. That hopefully happened to you as well. Just restart the quest. For me, I had to go talk to Dena Ruby again.

I am having the same issue with quest 4

I have same issue too. I started playing again and I remember that i didnt finish this quest line but now I dont find any quest for it

I also had the quest drop on me today. I handed in the 7th, Fishing Reagents, and I get nothing to further the quest from her.

Same issue here but for “Soulwarden Rations” after turning in “Treasures of the Deep”.

Think i found a fix as i’ve been having the same problem since i started doing my fishing quest after the brimstone update. Just tried doing the first main quests in windsward as i noticed i could pick up the start of the revamped main quest line even though im lvl 60 and did all the old ones. After i the quests to get to know the city noticed the fishing quest had reappeared back at Dena Ruby so it seems its locked because of a reset main quest progression or something.

Ive been trying to figure this out for weeks! Did the new quests in windsward and my quest popped up!

When you say main quest , up to what point and I can’t even find Dena Ruby

Quest still hasn’t re-appeared for me. I tried starting the Windsward main quest and got about 10 steps in and no luck.

When left in January 2021 had the Ecological Report next-to-last fishing quest chain to complete. Could not drop, so reset. Turned in the 25/25/25/25 filets, and no follow on quest. Char originally started in First Light, so had not done either of the Windsward or MB chains. Reading responses here, went to Windsward starter quest chain given by Marcel Dupont and turned in to Saatvik Agrawal. As soon as turned in, fishing quest giver in Reekwater quest popped up. Went to Reekwater and was able to take “To be a Grand Master” (fishing above 101) and completed quest, received pole. Suggest as soon as take starter WW or MB town quest and turn in, look to your fishing chain quest giver on map for main quest marker.

This is still bugged, confirmed by other players as well.

Where are the devs with the fix?!
