[Fishing trophies above minor don't work]

  Put on Basic fishing trophies in your house - and your bonus will not apply (it will decrease compared to minor fishing trophies)

To elaborate some more:
I had 2 minor fishing trophies and my fishing was around 150. I fished for about 4 hrs every day with full fishing gear (Fishing luck III on every piece) in Reekwater (hunting for the Blue Blooded Barb) in the 2-star hotspots. I was able to catch 1 Barb per day (so 1 Barb per 4hrs roughly).

After I upgraded my trophies to BASIC and added another minor fishing trophy (got a 3rd house). I’ve been now fishing for 4 days, same 4 hrs/day and have not seen a single Blue Blooded Barb. My luck should have gone up, and I get it that it could be an outlier - but after fishing for 4(!) days, thats 16 hrs of fishing without a single Barb - with INCREASED luck, that makes no sense.

My gut feeling is telling me that its bugged, and my gut feeling is usually spot on.

EDIT: Im using the best bait available (same bait I’ve been using throughout) - that is Firefly for freshwater and Glowworm for salt)

I have had the exact same experience. I had 3 basic fishing trophies and was catching legendary fish left and right. I’ve since upgraded to basic and not gotten a SINGLE ONE.

I’m absolutely positive that it’s broken.

While leveling up fishing to 200 using full fishing gear and the BIS bait I was on average receiving a legendary fish every 2-3 Tier 3 Hot spots however; when I placed my first major fishing trophy at 200 fishing with BIS fishing gear and bait I started receiving a legendary fish every 4-5 Tier 3 Hot spots this was over the course of 40 Tier Hot spots. Shortly after I placed down my second and third Major Fishing Trophies while still using the same BIS fishing gear and bait; using this set up I was only able to receive ONE legendary fish from 21 Tier 3 Hot Spots.
After removing all three fishing trophies from my houses the first Tier 3 Hot spot I went two I received 2 legendary fish, and over the course of 20 more Tier 3 Hots spots I was once again averaging one legendary fish every 2-3 Tier 3 Hot Spots using BIS gear and bait.
There is no doubt in my mind that there is a negative in front of the luck percentage in the code for fishing.
