Fishing Trophy Bug?

Ok so there is a vid on Youtube with a guy fishing with 1 Major, 1 Minor & 1 Basic trophies… Catching legendary fish at nearly every cast, when not catching legendary fish he is hauling in chests in the 10’s per secret spot…

So I have 3 major trophies… Catching way less than him, way less.
My guildie has the same set up as the guy in the vid and is catching near enough the same amount as him.

We are wearing the same gear and using the same bait.

So my Q is… Is there a sweet spot for fishing luck or is this another “bug” and shouldnt be working like this ?

some forum post was made about this a while ago.

its cause fishing trophies are limit = 1 per Tier so your really only using 1 troph when you have 3 major out… switch your trophies it will be good again… sorta… cause its all RNG even with luck bonuses

check NWDB and youll see the limit marker there

max stacks means only 1 will apply bonus

This is fixed on the ptr btw. Next patch use 3 majors for best results.
