For tools created before the bug was known that adding a mod would cause the mote perk to not be added what will the fix for those tools be? Right now I have 4 600gs skinning knives all without the mote perk that are essentially worthless

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your legendary tools. We do not presently have any fixes for this but I have reviewed all the data you have provided and thank you for the information. Due to the type of issue you mention and how it does not match the expected behavior, this thread would be better addressed in the Bug Reports section
