Fix group mode self casting healing abilities

  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Maramma US EAST
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Divine Embrace ability gets used but doesnt heal. Also when having group mode on, any targetted healing spells self cast instead of the person im looking at.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Divine embrace doesnt actually heal sometimes so the person im healing just dies because the game doesnt work properly. the group mode healing shouldnt self cast when im aiming at other players, you are costing people their lives in opr and dungeons because you cannot get your heals to cast properly
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: no because the heals didnt heal and the people that i was healing got smoked by bows and muskets. so sad that my heals arent working as intended and it is very much hindering my experience playing this game

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: cast a heal and it doesnt work or cast a heal with group mode on and it self casts

Yea just noticed this and am very annoyed by this issue. Hopefully the devs see this, but none of them are healers so they won’t fix it for quite some time. This combined with beacon and orb disappearing makes healing very frustrating in the game right now.

i think the orb and beacon thing was intentional, you have to hit a target now in PVE for it to work. idk though some have said its intentional and some say its a bug idk theyve never addressed it

I mean… cant we just add the ability to keybind targeted healing abilities like every other MMO? The skillshots would still exist but if you could keybind party member 1, 2, 3 it would make healing way more fluid and feel way better.

Beacon and Orb disappearing is a bug. If you hit the actual ground with a maxed Orb, it will trigger the Aegis perk’s AoE. If you hit some wooden walkway above the ground, the Orb disappears and doesn’t trigger the AoE.

Hitting a player or mob directly is simply the best workaround to maximize the chances of the heal working correctly.
