I’m in India,Asia Well I’ve been playing new world and since the launch and with each maintanence and update pings only increased and made this game a living hell for me at first it was 140-150 in EU server later it raised to 180 then 180-250 and now its above 250-380 and my internet is working fine Guild Wars2,ESO,final fantasy 14 every MMo and games like GTAO AND RDO all are working fine except New world i hope you guys fix it soon i like this game a lot and i Haven’t played for like 20days now because of the pings and latency issue if the devs fix it and make Asia region servers i and as well as asian community of this game will be happy

On a marketing perspective, I don’t really get AGS not releasing servers for asia at this point. I would like to use twitch’s top games and its viewer count as a sounding arguement because it will be difficult to really measure the playercount for a lot of games that are not available on steam(steamcharts).
Valorant, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Warzone etc,. you can not even use the free to play arguement because Elden Ring, a 40dollar game in my region, is also one of the top games right now
But releasing games in additional regions and finding publishers are difficult. Of course they are and I don’t understand why AGS didn’t do it in the first place; The MMORPG background of where I’m from is exceptional(Ragnarok, RF Online, Ran, Cabal, Grand Chase, etc.,), I don’t know how devs can track player counts from specific regions but back when I was active, A lot of people from Yomi, Lerna(AP Servers where I’m from) were Asian, anyone can tell just by looking at chat, and sometimes names.
It is ignorant and greedy of AGS to not release a dedicated server for asian players and yet still be available for purchase here in south east asia.
Black Desert also had the same problem back when it was first released. It was not available in asia when it was on its peak player count and only later when the game had low pop they then released on asia as a failsafe solution. Perhaps AGS is also gonna try the same move when it reaches an all time low but what do I know
I want to go back to playing new world so badly unfortunately playing from the Philippines gives you literally unplayable ping. I already had a hard time playing OPR with 150-230ms now it is consitently 300+ping. A lot of people including me is still waiting for a silver lining for this game and we hope AGS do something about this soon.
